  1. I don't know why everyone keeps harping on the dialogue wheel, it's just a slightly different way to present the classic multiple choice dialogue with the addition of short descriptive phrases instead of the whole text. Yes, it's slightly more convenient to use, but it's not a radical change or some great innovation. It's in the same league as having "G" throw grenades instead of having to select them, handy, but nothing to have long discussions about.
  2. I'm with Llyranor, probably randomly generated quests, collecting X gecko skins and cool factions you can join.
  3. Smokers vs non-smokers Round one Fight!
  4. But it's carefully crafted satire of female characters in video games.
  5. They were guns at least in the gameplay video I saw.
  6. More seriously than Bayonetta at least, sometimes you just want to run on walls and shoot people with guns strapped to your feet, no need for that emo guy to have whiny cutscenes.
  7. I saw a gameplay video and it looked really crazy, but the fun kind of crazy where they don't take themselves too seriously, unlike say Devil May Cry. I'd play it if I had a station or a box of some sort.
  8. It has some steampunkish elements like the turrets, but the setting isn't really steampunk. Apparently there's also something called biopunk. Oh, and Giant Bomb's verdict: a fun expansion pack.
  9. Get your punks straight.
  10. I ignored the vitachambers as well. The total lack of different enemies, constant respawning and not actually needing to use any plasmids or traps ruined the game.
  11. Because discarding batteries left and right sends the wrong message to the kids about recycling. @Oro: Woah, that like only being alive for the last 4 years. Crazy.
  12. You missed the 16 Bit Wars back in the 90s?
  13. I'm still playing Torment with the widescreen mod and Ghostdog's UI mod on my 1080p monitor. The trick is to set the game's resolution at 720p instead of 1080p and have it upscale it. At the end of the day, it's pretty passable:
  14. You can also boot straight from a thumb drive.
  15. That is ridiculously backwards. If you're only getting it for backups, use an online backup solution like Carbonite or any of the other billion solutions that use Amazon S3. It's cheaper and you don't need to put anything into a safe. Or a local remote server if you live down under
  16. And I want a pink unicorn. What you're asking for just plain doesn't exist, I picked the closest thing that I knew of, if that's not an option, so be it.
  17. I'm sure only partly infringing copyright is much better than posting the whole page. Just a week ago people were raving about piracy and DRM, now everyone is happily infringing copyright.
  18. And here I was thinking we didn't support copyright infringement...
  19. That video doesn't lend itself to discussing other aspects. We don't know how good the other parts of the game will be.
  20. But it's Alienware, mang!!!1
  21. They should have just stuck with the cutscenes. The character model looks good, but everything else is straight out of 2004. Uncharted 2 looks way better.
