  1. @Volo: No you were just reposting your well-known opinion from the last thread without adding anything new. Discussion actually involves multiple participants. As for ME2, I think the combat system is a great improvement over ME1, but could use some more innovative abilities to change up the tactical situation instead of just things that do damage or protect you. Oh and the thermal clips were completely unnecessary, if you want the player to actually move around instead of sniping everyone from cover, use better level design and AI.
  2. Does it matter who gets the credit or blame in the end? Obsidian knows what they're signing up for and will get the money in either case. Looks like a win-win to me. Also, there's a good possibility that Obsidian will get the credit if this does well, since they are actually somewhat known, while Red Eagle is totally unknown.
  3. Reposting what is essential the same thing each time isn't any closer to "discussing the topic", sorry. I'm pretty sure that everyone who has been in any of the ME2 threads is well aware of your opinion by now.
  4. There's also the possibility that the Red Eagle people are actually not stupid and realize Obsidian's writing talent and make use of it. Even if Obsidian won't be doing the writing, getting ideas and feedback from them probably wouldn't hurt, right?
  5. That's true enough, but why not be part of the solution instead of being part of the problem?
  6. Volourn, you truly make an art out of repeating yourself, A+
  7. Thanks to NeoGAF, I've had enough bad puns for a lifetime.
  8. I hope you have redeemed yourself by watching the whole series since then.
  9. Get out of here, Stalker!
  10. Or no one actual hates anything and the game was canned because of financial issues.
  11. I doubt they canned it because they hate PC gamers.
  12. Never! I will never be like you, a slave to the system, endlessly wandering the Middle Earth, without purpose, without hope. A man chooses, a slave obeys.
  13. There are some pretty heavy spoilers in the "what you can" part. Nobody cares?
  14. I was just poking fun at your general MMO-ness, I'm afraid.
  15. When the casual housebreaker goes for your files, the the digital age will finally be here. If you are actually worried about that, get encryption, like Truecrypt. The first thing I do when I get any kind of a flash drive or HDD is format it to purge all the crap that comes with it.
  16. MMOs - the gateway drug to JRPGs. Don't do MMOs, kids.
  17. Which is what I said in the second post.
  18. ...who are neither elves, dwarves nor dragons. There are quite a few supernatural/weird creatures, but most of them aren't classical Tolkin style things, except for Trollocs and maybe Ogier.
  19. Great, if it's true, but I'd still like to see a press release.
  20. When will you ever learn, people? All the different websites that have different dates are guessing, they don't have any special inside information. When SEGA announces an official date, we will all know it. Until then, this speculation is pointless.
  21. It would probably play just as it sounds JRPG combat with torment story and dialogue? No way. More like JRPG story and characters with Torment's combat system Or having a 15 minute turn-based battle every time you walk by a bunch of "thugs".
  22. That's like asking what toaster you should get. It's pretty much an appliance, just pick one. The techy way would be to buy an enclosure and an internal hard drive and make one yourself.
