Playing the adventure game Subject 13 (which I backed on Kickstarter). It does some interesting new stuff, like the 3D look around at objects and scenes, as well as interaction with the 3D scene. And you can tell it was not written in English first, as it has some very bad grammar translations. Some even as bad as SOMEONE SET US UP THE BOMB bad, but that's OK. I kind of find it amusing.

Dude, your standards must be goddamn astronomical. Not really. Obsidian understand and play PnP games and translate those mechanics very well into video games. I'd much rather they would be developing Cyberpunk.

I can only pray and hope they drop Cyberpunk 2077 and an actual cRPG developer who respects and understands the Cyberpunk 2077 setting and cRPG mechanics could develop such a game. Another crappy ACTION RPG slapped with the Cyberpunk setting by CDPROJECT is not something I want to see.

Yeah same here. That video was on the BG: Tales of the sword coast installer. When that video played, my jaw hit the floor, and I immediately went out and tried to pre-purchase the game. I didn't even know anything about it. But that was OK. I just HAD TO BUY THIS.

It's not using the 5th Ed magic system (except for spell names). It's using the generic MMO spells with cooldowns. About the only thing they are possibly using from 5th Ed is character stats.

If Obsidian is VERY passionate about a certain Sci-Fi setting (of their own design or another) then hell yes.

I'm going to need to see specific info on the combat and exploration system before I back this.

Judgement Rites is excellent. It is a really well done adventure game, in the Star Trek setting. It is much more enjoyable than the 25th Anniversary star trek adventure game (which I did not like).

I was looking at the US trademark for Sword Coast Legends™, which is owned by WotC/HASBRO, which tells me they are the ones publishing this. A real damn shame WotC wants to make a MMO combat game with cool-downs, targeted at the general public, instead of an actual turn based D&D game, targeted specifically for D&D fans. *sigh* Why do you hate turn based games WotC? Oh thats right..... money.
