Law Abiding Citizen God, I'm tired of these stupid movies where the entire plot revolves around one guy guessing what everyone else in the entire world is going to do.. and who guesses perfectly right 100% of the time. If anyone as much as goes to the toilet unexpectedly, his plans would be ruined, but nooo, it's all like clockwork. So stupid it hurts.

My group name sucks and I actually cut it a little (it said "Lisa Maxwell (actress)" originally), but I liked the picture and the album name (quote by Vincent Canby):

Yeah, they were standing there in their Daedric armours worth several hundred thousand gold pieces saying, "Give me 100 gold and I will let you live!". But I'm not worried about that, I think Besthesda had improved a lot in Fallout 3, and I think they will be even better in Skyrim. If not only because they've seen Obsidian's work on Fallout: New Vegas (where I ran into a Deathclaw Alpha at level 3.. I almost cried a Gothic-tear of joy as it tore me to pieces).

Did you know Skype supports party chat? You should try it! With me. And your girlfriend.

I tried to run that article through Google translate, but gave up after it translated "Mass Effect 3" to "Mass Morsels 3". GIGGLE GIGGLE

Dungeon Siege 3 at New York Comic Con

We need scans. Yes, I am asking for them. Go scan, people, and PM me the results! -
So who is working on this game?
mkreku replied to Flouride's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
Actually, at least DS3 is getting made.. which is more than you can say about NWN3, BG3 or KotOR3. Those three games you mentioned don't even have a forum. -
I am now back at work. My original plan was to just break old habits, get out of always meeting the same people, seeing the same places. I did not expect to be celebrating New Year's Eve with such great company. I did not have any plans, I just thought I'd join the general celebrations wherever I ended up. Oh, and I had hoped I would go someplace a little warmer than Sweden. Right. When I get home I will try to put up a few pictures. With explanations.

I loved Vice City, I loved San Andreas, but I could barely get through GTA4. The controls are indeed very sluggish and combat is clunky, especially when you try to use the slow and awkward cover system. The biggest problem (for me) with GTA4 though is that they've lost that fun feeling of the previous games. In Vice City you had the hidden packages (which were awesome) and real estate and car collecting. In San Andreas you had.. well, everything (too much to name). In GTA4 you had.. a story and an empty world with sluggish cars. From being the best open world games in Vice City and San Andreas, they went to the very opposite: when you feel like the game would have been much better without the open world. Rockstar have been the masters of the open world genre for a long time. All their games have been virtual playgrounds with so much to do, see and play with that vast distances never felt boring. Do you know anyone who thought driving from mission to mission in GTA4 was fun? Or doing those 10 races they so generously offered? Or went out into the world of GTA4 just to mess around a bit? Did anyone think it was fun trying to find 200 ****ing pigeons in a town the size of New York? I really hope Rockstar goes back to Vice City/San Andreas before their next GTA game, and maybe they'll remember to bring the fun back.

I've just spent the better part of the week in Ukraine (yeah, a bit weird to fly to Turkey and then back up to Ukraine, but it was the only open ticket I could find and I have never been here before, so..)! I celebrated New Year's Eve with a family I met on the plane! A father (an engineer), the mother (a doctor) and their 21 year old daughter. Very friendly people in this country, even though they barely speak a word of English. They actually invited me into their apartment and I ate New Year's Dinner with this family and a huge bunch of their relatives. The father has been driving me around Kharkov (the town) every day of the week. The daughter has been staying in my apartment to cook for me (insane)! I will have to post pictures of their daughter later.. You would not believe me if I described her. Am now waiting for my plane in the apartment I rented. Nice apartment, great food and awesome company. Very strange, very adventurous and very unexpected. Boredom does strange things to me. I will be soooo late for work tomorrow.

I was bored, jumped on a plane and ended up in Istanbul, Turkey. Nice town. I will soon jump on another random plane (writing this from Istanbul airport on my new netbook). We will see where that takes me. I love spontaneous adventures.

Dungeon Siege 3 at New York Comic Con
mkreku replied to funcroc's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
I think it sounds great! But then again.. I didn't like neither of the two earlier Dungeon Siege's and this seems very different. Good for me, but I assume not so good for Dungeon Siege fans. -
Funnily enough I agree with everything you write in this post. The difference is that I believe more in trying to lessen the injustices of our society than simply incarcerating the ones who are not evil to the core. I am not naive enough to believe crime will ever go away completely, but then again, my world is not just black or white.

Last night I went on a four hour bus trip. The guy in the seat next to me was juggling an Iphone 4, a HTC Desire HD and a Macbook of some kind, all connected to the free WiFi on the bus. All this time I was doing nothing, as I even forgot to bring a magazine or a book. Today I bought a netbook.

I enjoyed the boobie cards in The Witcher.

I vote for splitting up the entire Obsidian boards in two parts: filthy console peasants and PC Master Race ©!

Demon's Souls is awesome though. An old school dungeon crawler with fantastic visuals, atmosphere and sound design.

Eurogamer complains about exploding necklaces, stealth and a bad ending. It sounds pretty good to me though.

Why is it that right wing nuts can't separate climate from weather?
