  1. Love how everyone on this board are dating anonymous supermodels. You go, girls!
  2. Pics or it didn't fappen. I mean happen. Happen.
  3. I think you have Bethesda mixed with Bioware. Bethesda only made Fallout 3 and the Elder Scrolls series.
  4. Bah, this thread sucks. You're all mentioning Alien and Jaws? Geez, I was hoping for some really crappy movies I had never heard of before.
  5. One of the very first horror movies I saw is still rated as the scariest in my mind. It's probably just ridiculous if you could find it today. Obscure, forgotten and (probably) crappy, I bring you.. The Nesting
  6. The mental picture oh oh....can the regened velociraptors be covered in feathers, have nose rings, and be genetically altered to have red lipstick lips OK, I don't know what scares me more now: the velociraptors, or you. Yeah, holy crap! Everyone knows that velociraptors need pink lipstick to bring out their eyes. Red?! What is wrong with you, man??
  7. What a condescending Let's Play. Pointless. Why even bother when it's obvious you're set out to dislike this game from the beginning?
  8. Hey funcroc, what colour is Feargus underwear today?
  9. Two Worlds 2 is a great step up from the first game. It has good voice acting, some interesting side quests, lots of exploring, lots of combat and a great magic system. The weakest part is actually the main story.. It's not badly written or anything, but it just hasn't gripped me. In fact, I forgot why I am in the world at all! Right now I am only going forward because of the quest log, not because I want to know what happens next. It's still a very fun game though, with some interesting characters to meet along the way, lots of interesting places to see and it is fun trying to find better equipment for your character. I'd say it's definitely worth a purchase, if you like open world RPG's.
  10. Obsidian doesn't have to be great at making AI: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_game_AI_middleware
  11. None of these names sound like an abandoned city overrun by dogs That was the only unfinished story lead in Fallout: New Vegas that piqued my interest.
  12. Also on Eurogamer: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-02-...oming-to-pc-ps3
  13. I got something for free because I preordered Fallout: New Vegas.. but I was never sure exactly what it was. A wasteland pack? A ranger pack? Not sure. I know I got a shotgun for free, but since that didn't suit my play style I immediately sold it after I found it in my inventory.
  14. So you shot a deer and then stabbed it in the neck.. and that is your proof that throat cutting is not humane? The thought never occurred to you that maybe you don't know how to cut a jugular correctly? Or that the animal was in pain because you shot it? Or "it seemed to last forever" was actually 10-20 seconds? Killing is never pleasant, but there are different degrees of hell. "I will say this: anybody who says it's painless or only lasts a moment has never witnessed it." I will say this: anybody who has only seen it done once, on a wounded animal, the (probably) incorrect way, should not be so quick to judge.
  15. Slitting a throat isn't the same as slitting the actual throat of the animal. It's a pretty small incision that slits the animals main artery in the neck. It has been used for thousands of years as a way of killing animals, as it is a good way of getting a good deal of the blood out of the system the natural way (blood destroys meat). They don't drown in their own blood! They go unconscious from lack of oxygen very quickly (a human only needs ten seconds, not sure about dogs), and then the heart keeps pumping out blood until it stops. It is all very calm and humane. Things like this always sounds bad on paper but if you witness it, you realize it is not so bad. If you're not used to death, then of course it will not be pleasant. But then don't ever eat another hamburger in your life either. Those animals died a much more horrific death than getting their throats slit.
  16. What happened?
  17. Getting your throat slit IS humane. You just fall asleep after a minute or so. It does not matter if you're buried by the time that happens.
  18. Can't believe Bethesda hasn't already thought about this.. If the Fallout: New Vegas actually had an economy, it would be neat if you could also transfer your Iphone winnings to the game.
  19. Yeah, well Finns are used to bending over and taking it up the wazoo. The rest of the world is not.
  20. I agree. With a little luck we'll get the best of both worlds and everyone will be happy.
  21. I liked Red. Especially that short scene when Bruce Willis meets his personal assassin for the first time, and the assassin thinks he is up against an ordinary retired person and bumps Willis' car off the road. While the car is still spinning, Willis steps out of the car (in epic slow motion) and puts like ten bullets through the windshield of the very surprised assassin's car. Genius. Too bad the rest of the movie was ordinary action, but that scene definitely stood out.
  22. Looks fantastic!
  23. It's funny.. It takes longer for me to login to Steam than it takes to load the actual game. Steam actually triples the time it takes to start up a game for me.
  24. OK, guys, this Wednesday's Watch Mustang Shower club meet is hereby officially cancelled.
  25. But that helmet really reminds me of that dude in Dead Space.
