I went to a Christmas party on Saturday. It is now Monday morning and I am still hungover.

I've bought a DLC.. once. It was Anchorage for Fallout 3 and it made me never want to buy another DLC again. I have been thinking about buying Thongs of Virtue for Deathspank, but I am not sure it can be considered DLC.

I have no idea how you count, but we have ~100 murders per year in Sweden. 3000 is 30 times more than 100, not 3 times more.

Eurogamer awarded it 10/10... So what did it deserve? 11? Metacritic average is 89/100.. So.. exactly how good was this game? Seeing as it is a whole 9 points behind the highest rated game in the history of Metacritic..

I still don't understand how Gothic and Gothic 2 could have hand-populated worlds while almost no other free-roaming sandbox games have had anything similar. It just seems like it would be such a fun thing to design, hiding big, angry enemies where the player least expects it..

I was hoping for a bigger difference between my 5870 and the 6970. I mean, the 6970 is faster and my 5870 is slacking.. but compared to Nvidia they're not doing so good. The 6970 is equal to the GTX570. AMD has no competitor for the GTX580 yet. Maybe I should wait for the 6990? Decisions.

Gothic 3: After the gigantic community patch, this game is really good. I almost think it is my favourite Gothic game, but I haven't replayed Gothic (the first) in a really long time. Boiling Point: When it was released it was buggy in a hilarious way (old ladies tossing hand grenades, jaguars hovering thirty feet above ground, people running in circles really, really fast). After the patch it's great. Mercenaries 2: Very unpolished, but great fun in co-op. It can even be impressive at times, when the big bombs start to fall.

One of my friends on Facebook found an interesting link the other day. It listed all the terrorist acts in Europe between the years 2006-2009. There had been 1300+ something. They had been categorized according to their ideologies. Since I don't want to go on Facebook at work, I'll just wing it from memory. Acts connected to Islam: 6 (this number I am sure of) Acts connected to left wing nuts: 140 (or something similar) Acts connected to right wing nuts: 1200 (or something similar) Uncategorised: 60 (something something) I just thought I'd throw that out there amongst Walsinghams bleating.
