Lucasarts games were a big part of my childhood so I'm a bit sad to see them go but I won't mourn for too long, hopefully Disney will sell or licence out the old IP.

The new screenshot is lovely and much closer to the style I imagined for the game

I'm pretty ambivalent about the picture, yeah I'd like to see higher quality work but as a proof of concept piece it's fine.

They always do that for every big game and I hate it as well Should be a bannable offence *grumble grumble* That said, this post is titled: "LEIA IS CHEWBACCA'S FATHER!!!" I could have reached through the monitor and punched the guy but ah well, my technical problems and the lack of proper save slots means I've played through the city intro at least six times now, the magic is utterly gone so I'll put the game away for a good while, maybe see if the free copy of X-Com can make up for the disappointment

No issues, nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti or whatever order those go in, latest drivers, no problems whatsoever. Also, from Ken Levine on Twitter: "As always, kids, beware of spoilers. I've been careful to avoid spoilers but I didn't expect to be searching for technical fixes on a forum where some malicious little bugger put the main plot twist in the title of his post (all caps), I can't help but feel rather bummed out over this game now

Just out of interest, you guys who are playing it without issues, are you using AMD or Nvidia cards? Also, I'm pretty sure I just got intentionally spoilered in a major way on the Steam forums while checking for fixes, the dickery of some people is agony sometimes

It might have been caused by the ini tweaks I used to help the stuttering, which was pretty severe, either way I'll just have to wait for a patch

Bioshock Infinite is kind of sucking for me right now, very bad loading stutters and I just had a game breaking bug where no one appeared at the raffle scene, I keep saying I'm done with day one PC releases but they keep dragging me back for another dose of annoyance.

I was very underwhelmed by Denerim, I got really tired of that market place...the Dwarven city was pretty well done though, it felt more like a living place.

Same here, I quickly got the pre-order offer on Steam, dunno if I'll like X-Com but it seemed like a bargain all the same, I won't be able to play it until tomorrow though, must sleep.

I'll definitely be trying Bioshock : Infinite, my only reservation is the apparent lack of exploration, "focused" is how the reviews are putting it...

I felt outrage at Obsidian losing their bonus but ultimately they agreed to the terms and fate didn't swing in their favour, hopefully they can get a better deal next time (I really want there to be a next time...), considering all the publicity they've had recently and the fact that New Vegas did very well.

I'm taking a similar approach with Wasteland 2 and Project Eternity, I really do regret that I'm not taking part in the whole developer/backer relationship but I don't want to know too much about how the (blood) sausage is being made.

Spent the last few days feeling crappy and depressed, little things are getting to me, it always passes in the end but it's hard to see when you're in the thick of it, on the bright side House of Cards is a pretty decent tv show and my new Orange amp sounds pretty good I'm turning 33 this month but it doesn't bother me too much, success is a relative thing, I'm doing far better than I was six years ago but I have to remind myself now and again, I just wish I was a bit healthier...

Ahh, hence the "true believer" thing, oh well, I'm onboard now...not that I actually have any money but I will by the end of the Kickstarter.

So I'm a backer at the $110 tier but only because the $95 tier was sold out, oddly enough I can't see any difference between the two tiers, anyone know?

I can't see a video but I remember this interview, I'm just watching it on youtube, the bit where Arthur C Clarke starts using his computer makes me sigh because I remember exploring the Mandelbrot set on my Amiga too

I'll be pledging for the physical tier, I can't really go to extemes like I did with Project Eternity, mostly because I can't afford as much and partially because of some small reservations, the $110 tier is tempting though.
