Government let British company export nerve gas chemicals to Syria "The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills insisted that although the licences were granted to an unnamed UK chemical company in January 2012, the substances were not sent to Syria before the permits were eventually revoked last July in response to tightened European Union sanctions. In a previously unpublicised letter to MPs last year, Mr Cable acknowledged that his officials had authorised the export of an unspecified quantity of the chemicals in the knowledge that they were listed on an international schedule of chemical weapon precursors." So the chemicals apparently were never sent but still...wtf?

I'd feel more secure about that if I hadn't been slacking lately...though I've definitely lost weight and it's almost six weeks without rolling or smoking a cigarette What better time then than to go for the elusive menage au trois!? One of them keeps mentioning this but I suspect she just enjoys teasing me

Dunno what's going on but the amount of girls being flirty with me is exponentially increasing...I'm going to check in the mirror and make sure I didn't accidentally become better looking

Government agents also entered The Guardian's building and physically destroyed computer hardware... "The man was unmoved. And so one of the more bizarre moments in the Guardian's long history occurred – with two GCHQ security experts overseeing the destruction of hard drives in the Guardian's basement just to make sure there was nothing in the mangled bits of metal which could possibly be of any interest to passing Chinese agents. "We can call off the black helicopters," joked one as we swept up the remains of a MacBook Pro."

I got a knot in my gut when I saw the pinned thread, I hardly knew Tarna but I'd read what he was going through, my best wishes to his family and all who knew him

Keep up the effort, I know its hard work but I'm confidant the health benefits will be worth it Thanks mate, feeling a bit better for the moment, I'm determined to stick it out to the bloody end.

I'm still feeling variously good and terrible, it's a week since I've rolled a cigarette and I'm having a rough break in period with the e-cig, apparently sore throat, sinus, tongue and brain is normal for some people, eventually it all clears up...unless you're really unlucky My lungs do feel better when I'm riding up hills and my blood pressure seems to have edged back from the hypertension zone a bit so there do seem to be clear benefits.

I finished the second "Dunk & Egg" novel and thoroughly enjoyed it, now I'm diving back into something epic with The Warrior Prophet, the second book of The Prince of Nothing series. The first book dragged on for hundreds of pages before the good stuff (a grind but necessary for the background) but this one picks it up perfectly, again I feel very strong Dune vibes, the number of clashing cultures and philosophies is overwhelming but I enjoy figuring out that kind of stuff.

I do enjoy the physical act of smoking but tobacco has always been a drug transfer medium for me, otherwise it's bloody revolting stuff. I don't ever see myself being entirely free from stimulants and impurities, I like to fiddle with my own chemistry too much to go cold turkey but I'm thinking these e-cigs and vaporizers might be my key to escape tobacco for good. Congrats on quitting, cold turkey takes balls...which is also the name of my next movie

Seriously though, I'll check that book out

Good luck on your test. Two of my friends have switched from real smokes to e-cigarettes and both made the same nicotine level mistake as you. One of them was a three pack a day smoker and tried the 24mg liquid and said he almost threw up. Grats on quitting too. Thanks mate, I've been feeling pretty bad for days but I haven't smoked a real cig since Monday, I may have smoked a couple of "other" things but in general I've smoked ten times less than usual. I've actually started to feel a bit better in the last hour, the symptoms have been very flu like so I've dosed myself on aspirin and throat sweets.

I enjoyed the e-cigarette too much on my first day and ended up giving myself a bit of the old nicotine poisoning, the last 48 hours have been full of headaches and sicky feelings but I'm much better today and I got some new liquids with way less nicotine. I haven't wanted a real cigarette for days (hate the taste anyway) so one way or another the plan seems to be working. Also my driving instructor said I'm ready for the test

Mostly spent the day enjoying my new e-cig, I can see this being a viable alternative to smoking. I maybe need to get a lower nicotine dosage though, it tastes so much nicer than tobacco so I've ended up having too much, bit headachey

Had a family BBQ but I don't think any of our hearts were in it, I brought back plenty of food though I Have a question for you guys but there will be prologue I've dabbled in 3D modelling since I got Imagine 2.0 for the Amiga on a coverdisk when I was a kid, lately I've tried Modo and found it to be as comfortable as a pair of old shoes (including the bugs and holes...on Windows at least) but whenever I try one of the big industry standard packages I feel like I'm eating glass. More than likely I'll never be a professional 3D modeller but if I wanted to try, which program should I specialise in?
