if they go with a complete reimagining of the batman franchise to make the movie world fit a little better with a possible justice league movie then i'd like to see them adapt arkham asylum (the video game). edit: i should say "loosely" adapt, the same way that batman begins was a very loose adaptation of batman year one.

so its a drm issue? i saw a lot of people with the same problem saying it was a bug relating to rockstar social club, but i tried all the fixes suggested and none of them worked. rockstars website has a few suggestions, those didnt work either, im just hoping it gets patched. as for league of legends, immature people on the internet dont bother me as long as i can mute them...

im 100% excited for the firaxis remake. i dont have emotional ties to the original though, it was too hard when i was a kid, i dont think i ever got more than 2-3 missions into it and i didnt even understand what i was supposed to be doing

tried playing max payne 3. the game installed fine but then wouldn't start, it would just get frozen at the "initializing" screen. after spending 3 hours reading forums and trying to get the game to work, i gave up and uninstalled it. i'll try again after they patch it. played crysis 2 instead, i'm 6 hours into it and it kinda sucks. i don't know what i was expecting, crysis 1 was not very much fun either. i liked far cry though... maybe i'll try playing League of Legends? i keep hearing people talk about it and it's free to play right? hmm, maybe i should just go back to writing until guild wars 2 or borderlands 2 come out..

i still dont understand what people don't like about robin. ok thats not entirely true, grayson is a bit of a dweeb, and todd was very unpopular... but tim drake is a great character, and jon blake in the movie was great too. maybe its because i only started reading comics in the 2000's, and not earlier, so i've never seen robin running around in shorts like Grayson did before he became nightwing?

the whole time i was watching the movie i was thinking about Jon Blake: "this guy is just like a mix of grayson and drake, he should be robin." then at the end they reveal his real name was Robin Blake, then he gets access to the batcave i was excited, but then i remembered there won't be another nolan batman movie. too bad. what i'd like to see next: one more nolan movie.

having a cell phone more powerful than my pc (or a hypothetical ps4) sounds pretty neat, but it also sounds like its 20 years away. or maybe im not understanding what you are saying? or maybe i don't realize how powerful cell phones are?

im pretty sure the next gen is going to be a disaster. at this point 90% of my gaming is on pc, whereas 3 years ago it was probably 75% console if the next gen consoles aren't a huge step up in graphics, then it will be cheaper just to upgrade my pc a little to overtake them, and then i'll have no need for a console at all, except to the play the 3-4 exclusives that would be worth my time, and i can just wait until the next gen consoles are 3-4 years old before i buy one for those few games i'd love to be wrong though. i want the new consoles to be amazing, i'm just pretty sure that won't happen

just finished Dan Simmons Song of Kali still undecided how much i liked it. the writer successfully evokes dread throughout the novel, and at times the story is very gripping. However, the main character is mostly unlikeable, behaving in frustrating and illogical ways. The plot is very ... disjointed(?)... its almost like 3 seperate short stories crammed together. The sucker punch finale is not something led up to, it just kind of happens, and could have been inserted into almost any book because it did not relate to the rest of what was going on in any apparent way. i dunno, i guess i'd give it a C- for plot and characters, and a B+ for prose - i might change my mind after thinking about it a few more days

watched gran torino, it kinda sucked. not sure what i was expecting, but the acting and screenplay were both average at best

alan wake sucked. i was pretty damn dissapointed by it
