Forum Comments and Issues Repository
Something changed with the forum. After so many years, it seems posts are much easier to read again. Big thanks to whoever finally saw the light! There is but one issue. This bright light here, which now makes it impossible to see the page count, etc.:

Anime and Manga - How do you Live? Edition
I didn't really liked Frieren in the beginning either because it felt so extremely slow. But after a while it grew on me and now I'm awaiting every new episode.

Ukraine Conflict - continuing
Forced to not strike back at russia by our western friends. Obviously they wouldn't do a full on invasion since yes, they don't have the manpower for that.

Ukraine Conflict - continuing
It's actually quite interesting. If Ukraine wouldn't be forced to hold back, they could easily cross the border in various places and sting from there, forcing russia to divert more troops.

It's pretty much a miracle that Andor turned out the way it did. I have no idea how the hell that could happen, considering the quality of everything else Star Wars.

Would they publish
Yeah, had that in mind as well. It's the same with book authors and generally creative people.

Would they publish
They are a big company with lots of employees - they surely have enough ideas on their own. Realistically they probably would not even read your ideas. That said, if you are "still thinking of game mechanics and type of game", you're (probably) a couple years too early with your question anyways. 😄 Unless you actually have something to show for, like a working prototype, nobody will take it serious.

Ukraine Conflict - Those who can win a war well can rarely make a good peace and those who could make a good peace would never have won the war
Like I said before, it makes no sense to be a false-flag attack. What would Russia gain from it that they can't just do right now anyways? Situation is completely different now from the apartment bombings back in the days. And for Ukraine... attacking civilians in a theater? Why? This wouldn't win their war. At best it means nothing, at worst it would give them less western support. Makes no sense. Considering russia has and still is pissing off various islamic factions, it makes the most sense for them to try to go for it while they can. So yeah... Occam's razor yadda-yadda.

So they say that 4 people were captured by now. There's videos online where a guy gets tortured Way to go, Russia, making me feel sympathy for a terrorist, wtf. Besides, this is all really weird anyways.. apparently that guy was caught 200km away from the attack site? Those guys must be really fast.

Cinema and Movie Thread: coming at you at 24fps
I'm the inverse of this. Alien looks interesting to me, but like Keyrock said, Burton hasn't made a good movie in a bazillion years - don't have any hopes for this one either. At least that new Alien movie is not made by Ridley Scott this time. Pretty much lost all faith in him by now.

The TV and Streaming Thread: US Writers/Actors Strike Edition
Watched ep1 of Ashoka yesterday... I thought it was terrible. 😄 Don't think I will watch more than that, unless someone tells me it will get a lot better.

Max won't be in this movie at all. Not sure what to make of the CGI. I do think it looks kinda terrible in some of the trailer scenes. On the other hand, trailer itself doesn't mean that much anyways... Maybe in the actual movie I won't even notice.

Hehe they gave that one black guy the one hairstyle that every black guy has nowadays. Also is there a tl;dr about this Acolyte thing? Saw the trailer but still no clue what exactly this is about. Curious if this will be yet another garbage Star Wars show or if it goes more into the Andor direction, which was good despite of Star Wars and not because of it.

Yes, in fact I watched it just last week. CGI is terrible, but other than that still holds up, imo.
