  1. Damn, her comeback tour flopped and now she's going to be an actor again? /Edit: Watched Twisted Metal on Amazon. No clue how close that is to the old video game since I never played it, but the show itself was surprisingly not bad. Enjoyed it for the most of it and would totally watch a season 2.
  2. This petition is so dumb. How is that supposed to be enforced? A company can be broke or pretty much dissolved, who is supposed to do the work of maintaining the games? What if for whatever reasons the source code got lost? Should the government fine the company that doesn't exist anymore, or jail the studio heads?
  3. Don't be naive. You'll add some undercover police into the crowd, let them throw some stones and now you can gas everyone. That's how it's going to play out. "Illegal protests" is a funny wording too. Guess who decides what is a legal and illegal protest? Random example out of the wild: Do you think they saw occupy wallstreet as a legal protest?
  4. If you need high tech drones with gas dispensers to curb your violent citizens, I'd say your government has already failed. This stuff is dystopic as hell.
  5. https://twitter.com/JoshuaPHilll/status/1785480782875955437 lol. You'd think they are fighting some huge paramilitary force and not some stupid school students. This **** is hilarious.
  6. Watched the 1997 version of the Berserk anime. Pretty good. Hilarious intro song, though. Definitively a monument of its time.
  7. Full VO is EXTREMELY expensive. Good voice actors aren't cheap at all and especially RPGs usually have a lot of text that would need to be recorded.
  8. Sounds like germany will have a few more ukraine refugees soon.
  9. "Trilogy" .. "Six Films" ok. But anyways. How is this even possible? Everyone says the first Rebel Moon movie is garbage (I wouldn't know, fell asleep while watching and woke up when it ended) and the second apparently is as well. So how the hell does he get funding for even more of that?
  10. https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/bloomberg-reveals-that-the-entire-irgc-command-wing-in-syria-was-assassinated-798031 Heh, guess that explains some things.
  11. I don't get it. Didn't israel strike first again iran? Who then retaliated, and now israel realiates the retaliation? Why the hell are we giving those people weapons.
  12. Where's that info coming from and why would they think that?
  13. What's far worse is that all those images under your location on the left side are stacked on top of each other now and thus set a minimum post height of approx 1000000 pixels.
  14. Something changed with the forum. After so many years, it seems posts are much easier to read again. Big thanks to whoever finally saw the light! There is but one issue. This bright light here, which now makes it impossible to see the page count, etc.:
  15. Anything that zeroes at around 200 to 300 meters should be good to go for it. Since the bullet drop is quite harsh, it's primarily supposed to be used in close range encounters.
  16. I didn't really liked Frieren in the beginning either because it felt so extremely slow. But after a while it grew on me and now I'm awaiting every new episode.
  17. Pretty sure that was posted already around here. /Edit: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/132884-random-video-game-news-games-are-randomly-news-worthy/?do=findComment&comment=2374608
  18. Our new stuff released: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/107410/view/4133814330212415053 So far so good. The negative reviews are as expected. Just a bit weird that the majority is in cyrillic. But oh well, so far so good.
  19. Forced to not strike back at russia by our western friends. Obviously they wouldn't do a full on invasion since yes, they don't have the manpower for that.
  20. It's actually quite interesting. If Ukraine wouldn't be forced to hold back, they could easily cross the border in various places and sting from there, forcing russia to divert more troops.
  21. There is a difference between having a different opinion and spewing ultimate brain rot like codex or /pol does.
  22. I find it already troubling that you read this crap on the Codex at all. To me this is just the ultimate form of brain rot and I'm sure as hell not going out of my way to get into it.
  23. It's pretty much a miracle that Andor turned out the way it did. I have no idea how the hell that could happen, considering the quality of everything else Star Wars.
  24. Yeah, had that in mind as well. It's the same with book authors and generally creative people.
  25. They are a big company with lots of employees - they surely have enough ideas on their own. Realistically they probably would not even read your ideas. That said, if you are "still thinking of game mechanics and type of game", you're (probably) a couple years too early with your question anyways. Unless you actually have something to show for, like a working prototype, nobody will take it serious.
