Damn, can't stop thinking of this transport fever trailer. On one side I am very certain it will have exactly the same issues as train fever, but on the other side it looks exactly the kind of game I want to play. But if they are unable to provide better rail/road placement, terrain morphing and an economy where you need trains with more than but two waggons, it's just not going to be a fun experience for me.

Same here. Also it's kinda fun to coop the game, so I'll do it whenever I sense stronger enemies.

Dark Souls 3 feels quite easy so far. Not sure if it's my experience from the past games or if the generic mobs are all rather easy to take out. The few really tough mobs I've found can be mostly ignored if you really don't want to fight them. Still could cry about there apparently not being any Heide Knight Iron Mask in the game.

Ravenor-senpai, notice me. :3

Impressive. I am so bad at Witcher 3 combat that sometimes, even on "story only!" difficulty I actually manage to die easily...

What the hell is going on with that combat gameplay. They should have made it turn based and with a top down camera, imo. Probably would have looked a lot better this way. /Edit: Oh god, that door opening... /Edit2: I wouldn't want to play this game, because I fear it will ruin the books. Everytime you'll go back to the books, you will connect it with images from that game turd.

I found out that apparently there is no Heide Knight Iron Mask in Dark Souls 3. Ultimate sadness. :/

More the background stories, afaik. Never finished ds1, but I remember having read that ds2 must be a truckton of time after the first game. Still, everything changed and is different, so based on that you don't have to play ds1 before being able to "understand" ds2, etc. First boss in ds3 was super easy, by the way. I survived a long time till some generic mob turned out to be way too strong for me to take. Luckily I didn't lose any souls permanently yet. -

Graphics are pretty nice, but I could swear I've seen some of the animations already back in Dark Souls 1. -
For four days now I thought "man, WUE is really dumb for writing 'worth' lel".
-
Wait, the game is out today? I thought it was 16th or something. God damnit, I just got deeply into wit her 3 for the first time in months. I can't play this now.

Never played that, does put a damper on things though. What was the problem you had with it? Still need to try openTTD Off the top of my head: - Small maps - Only a hand full of trains - Horrible rail / road building controls (placement is not grid-based. You had to fiddle a lot with manual heights to get everything to not just work but also look good) - Economy / gameplay is really dull. - I was disappointed with the lack of possibilities when it comes to rail-placement, switch points and general scenery objects. There was more stuff, but that's the important points. IMO they really should have made the game based on a grid system- exactly like Transport Tycoon. This would have made so many things much easier. Granted, it kinda limits you in "realistic building" if you are into this stuff, but then again... with the current system it's a pain in the arse to get anything to look good unless you try really hard for a long time. From the trailer shown above, Transport Fever looks like it is using many of the Train Fever elements as a base. It might work out this time, but honestly, I am pretty sure the placement controls are shait once again... they just don't show it in the trailers (Train Fever looked good in those as well). /Edit: OpenTTD has a few flaws as well, mainly with the economy, but there are mods that fix this and make the game even more awesome and addictive.
-
^ If the controls and functions are as bad as in Train Fever, then meh. So far nothing could top OpenTTD, imo.
-
Nope, but i would have needed to take it all the time. :> daytime had way too dark shadows as well.
-
Thing is, it works with any other game. Just Witcher 3 was way too dark. Now that I could adjust the gamma it's a lot better, though. Just wondering why there are no contrast settings either.

Awesome. It's sunday evening and my bathtub just filled itself up with a lot of shtwater. Pipe must be clogged somewhere under me and when the family above me emptied their bathtub it all came up in my place. Already called someone about it and now I am waiting and hoping that someone will still come today... Man, I am just happy that it's the bathtub and not the toilet. In that case, the crapwater would be all over my floor now.
-
Today I found out that I can actually adjust the gamma if I run the game in fullscreen (and not just window mode without borders). Man, that changes so much... I never really noticed before, but the game simply was too dark on my tv. Even at normal daylight the shadows were just like pitch black. Now that I've adjusted it (had to crank the value quite high, though), playing the game is much more fun, as it feels like my eyes are less strained. PS: It seems like the Blood and Wine dlc will be out in early june or something.

This "psychopatic evil" always annoys the hell out of me. Sadly it's exactly the only evil stuff most games have to offer. I'll guess it's much easier to write / the writers don't like to think about anything deeper than that and the players usually don't care either.

If I had known this, I might have picked them up before!

While we are at it, someone made a mod for New Vegas that brings the quick looting from Fallout 4 into the game. I've tried it and it's awesome. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61666/?

Modkit isn't even released yet, as far as I am aware. That means, modders are kinda limited right now.

Everyone loves a bit of drama.
-
Yeah, the soundtrack is awesome in general.
-
I don't like the graphic style and such. Even Interstate '82 - the sequel to '76 - was pretty bad already, imo. About Battletech, did they show anything of the game so far? Last times I've checked there only had been talking and nothing else to be seen.
