Already seen The Man in the High Castle when it was released + read the book years ago. It's p.cool. Haven't heard of Wolf Hall yet, will check it out.

Yeah, Lex Luthor feels a bit like a poor man's Joker. He acts like a lunatic, which makes it hard to believe other people around take him serious. I thought the Batman parts were p.cool though. A little bit of a more or less realistic approach. Same for Superman. Only Wonder Woman really had no need to be in the movie, imo.

Watched Batman vs. Superman. Was an ok movie, I think. Don't get why people were hating on that movie so hard. It's not the best, not the worst, certainly better than other recent super hero movies that I've seen.

Well the game world looked awesome. Much, much better than Oblivion back then. It had this kind of Gothic(game)-feeling, because everything was hand placed and didn't looked like simple copy&paste. But yeah, as far as I can remember, the visuals were the only thing I really liked. Oh, and I think the voice acting was really well done... just doesn't help if the writing is bad. That said, maybe they improved for the new mod. No idea, haven't tried it and won't for a while longer.

I started playing Nehrim back in the days, but stopped soon after. I think it was because the quest design was horrible.

Still doing nothing but A3, working on my mini-campaign while waiting for Apex Protocol to hit the dev-branch. ^ I've added a subtle detail to the texture. :>

Last ep of Preacher ended quite dark. Did not expect this, heh. But I'll guess I should have, considering what happened before.

I really love that element, by the way. It's exactly how I feel a witcher game (with Geralt) needs to be. Just imagine how The Witcher would be if made by Ubisoft or EA or someone... urgs.

First ep of Preacher was weird as hell, imo. It took me about 3 episodes to finally get it a lil bit.

The intro of MGS5 was a pain in itself, imo. Robbing on the floor with snail speed really had me there. And I think it took about 1 hour to get through all of this. After that the game became a lot better, luckily.

My worst issue with PoE was the rtwp combat. I just hate that stuff, because no matter what, I always end up with "mark all, click enemy, hope for the best".

I should stop reading this thread before watching the episode.

Weird, I had no problem with all of them. Also I didn't talked to all of them every day (there was no need to- and when something important happens, they come to you). Had great fun with Dead State, though, yes, fewer characters would have been better. Also they made NPCs walk around the base, without giving them nametags... result was obvious: I've spend way too much time trying to find certain NPCs, which was annoying as hell. And I think the ending came way too fast. First there was nothing for a few weeks, because apparently I've looted the locations way too efficient, and then suddenly "hurry up, it's thy endgame tyme!"

Wondered why the steam store is crapped again. Checked mainpage. Summer sale started. Of course...

The general story, yeah, like this dude in that yt video said. My post was only about the character Gaunter 'o Dimm. I've never read Faust, so no idea if a character with the same "feeling" appears there.

What I've asked myself all the time while the battle: Why the hell does the giant not haul stones or something at the enemy? Why doesn't he grab the punny spears and throw around some people? Why didn't he pick up anything, like all the bodies, and hauled it over the lines? They could have more or less easily broke that circle, if he had hauled some dudes into it. Instead he stands there, waves his arms a lil bit and looks like a big, dumb fool. (probably to save on CGI costs? It really looked like he couldn't grab a single *not moving* spear in front of him) /edit: And in the end it felt to me like they killed the giant to save future cgi costs, or so they don't have to use him in a future plot. Heh. :D
