  1. Trust told, 90% of the time I just used the katana. Especially with the GoG vintage-skin that made it look like the original.
  2. I always admire his hair.
  3. I think the biggest problem with the new Shadow Warrior is that some of the maps are a tad too long. If they had shortened a path here and there, it would have been for the better.
  4. Isn't it made by ex-Bioware folks? Explains the amount of fake choices in the game. :>
  5. What happened to Shaddow Warrior 2, is it out yet?
  6. Not sure if 100% technically correct, but aren't there already paid mods on Steam? I'm not even going to point at Black Mesa, but stuff like this. It confused me when nobody cared about this. Is it because it's a stand-alone mod and not just a tiny addon? Kinda hypocritical, imo.
  7. They spent much dollars into cutscenes. You better watch em.
  8. At first I liked the movie, then I watched it again some time later and found it to be really boring. Turns out it's one of them one-time-only movies of me. Probably will never ever watch it again.
  9. Guys I'm thinking of starting on DS1 ? But I'm not sure I have patience to keep going back every time I die?Is it worth....you guys all seem to like it? Well, you will die a lot in the game. But there are severel bonfires in each area, which are checkpoints. So once you know the path to the boss, you can ignore most enemies and run to the boss area. I really think it's worth to stick to the game and not give up. It has unique storytelling and multiplayer, great bossfights and fantastic exploration. The level and world design in DS1 is simply brilliant. I have DS1 &2 on Steam .....okay so your view is just learn the game play What class would you recommend for a novice? I personally think that Knight is the easiest one, but other people are saying that range combat / magick is way easier because you keep a healthy distance to the mobs. Can't really comment to that, though, as I pretty much always used the Knight class and close range combat. :> When I think about it, I'll guess what will make DS1 harder now is the lack of human phantoms to help you in tough situations. Most players moved on to DS 2 or 3, so you probably have to do most things alone or with ai phantoms who are usually only worthy of being a short time mob distraction.
  10. Loved Seven Samurai and The (original) Magnificent Seven. Hopefully Westerns are making a quasi comeback. To be honest, since I've seen Jurassic World and this other comic related stuff, I somehow get a "this movie probably stinks"-vibe whenever I see Chris Pratt. I know he is totally the new shait right now, but I somehow really, really can't stop connecting him with mediocre family-cinema. tl;dr - I hope not, but I think this Magnificent Seven movie will be mediocre at best. PS I hope more wild west movies will come out again. Also late western movies where some dude is using a Mauser pistol. Yiss.
  11. Guys I'm thinking of starting on DS1 ? But I'm not sure I have patience to keep going back every time I die?Is it worth....you guys all seem to like it? You just have to accept that dying is part of the game mechanics. The games are designed that way- learn the environment. For this, there are shortcuts and stuff all over the place, which allow you to get around most generic mobs in the gameworld. It's really not as "harsh" as people make it out to be on the internet. If you fail all the time in Dark Souls, then probably only because you weren't paying attention.
  12. I still think DS3 is a lot easier than the games before.
  13. I've seen the signs too, but I am too experienced with griefing to fall for it. :>
  14. When that Transport Fever game got announced I was a negative nancy because I had been disappointed in Train Fever, but somehow it still kinda hyped me so I had to reinstall Train Fever and god damnit, it's actually in a playable state now (performance and handling, etc) and it actually hooked me up. With more improvements (which they may or may not add in Transport Fever), the game even can be my OpenTTD follow-up. Also I love the Milwaukee Road Class EP-2...
  15. Could be the janitor & friends.
  16. I've watched Twilight only for Kristen Stewart. Yes, I love that generic and somewhat weird look of her face. I feel a bit bad for admitting it (no, not the Twilight thing), but I actally did reinstall Train Fever after the trailer of Transport Fever and... it is fun to play. They patched it quite a few times sicne I've played it last and the performance is better, the road & rail placement feels better (though still extremely limited) and thanks to mods the interface is bigger + the economy is better. If they actually build up on that for Transport Fever, then it actually can become a competent game. Based on what they have shown in the trailer, they also expanded the way you build railways and intersections, basically removing one of the other big problems I have with the current game. Also at least on flat land maps it's not that annoying and ugly to place roads & rails. If it's true that in Transport Fever there are more ground details visible when you zoom in, then it pretty much makes this game already like 10 times better than Train Simulator 2016 (which is a boring turd, imo).
  17. Drangleic armor was pretty heavy if I remember right. Also it looked bad. :> If I spoiled me right, I should be able to get the Alva armor rather soonish. Though without the Heide Knight Iron Mask, I won't be able to suit up like before. What a shame. Also I begin to notice a bit of a pattern in the maps. There is always that one door at the first bonfire that you can only open from the other side, so you'll have to find your way around, maybe beat a tough mob, then open the door to gain easy access to the bonfire so you don't have to run that far if you die in the next boss fight. I mean, don't get me wrong- I like how they remove unnecessary walkways, but this style is just always the same so far.
  18. Game is really easy if you start out as a knight, though. Noticed that I am playing for a truckton of hours and except for aesthetic reasons there is really no need to change the armor or weapon. Right now I am still using the broadsword I've found early in the game. Even the longsword probably would still work ok for me if I had reinforced it. Still using the gloves and pants from the very beginning. Nothing I've found comes even remotely close stats-wise. Dark Souls 2 was a lot better in this area.
  19. Just watched the trailer. Actually doesn't look that bad. Never played the old Rollercoaster Tycoon games, etc. though, so I dunno about it.
  20. I need something with trains in it.
  21. Damn, can't stop thinking of this transport fever trailer. On one side I am very certain it will have exactly the same issues as train fever, but on the other side it looks exactly the kind of game I want to play. But if they are unable to provide better rail/road placement, terrain morphing and an economy where you need trains with more than but two waggons, it's just not going to be a fun experience for me.
  22. Same here. Also it's kinda fun to coop the game, so I'll do it whenever I sense stronger enemies.
  23. Dark Souls 3 feels quite easy so far. Not sure if it's my experience from the past games or if the generic mobs are all rather easy to take out. The few really tough mobs I've found can be mostly ignored if you really don't want to fight them. Still could cry about there apparently not being any Heide Knight Iron Mask in the game.
  24. Ravenor-senpai, notice me. :3
  25. Impressive. I am so bad at Witcher 3 combat that sometimes, even on "story only!" difficulty I actually manage to die easily...
