  1. This looks interesting: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2043603103/planet-nomads And looks way more realistic (as a game that can be done) than this other thing, No Mans Sky or whatev the name was.
  2. Man, this is like the beginning of the Armed Assault 3 background story. :D
  3. Agreed. Would love to play it with gamepad on my damn tv. Pretty sure the game would work quite well that way.
  4. It's true. I was like wtf as well, because I don't like some of their settings. Thing is, the menu *looks* like it should be possible... Clicking the lines just doesn't do anything. So who knows, maybe it is a bug or something.
  5. The new homeworld feels slower paced to me, which I actually like a lot. The reason why I stopped rts is mainly because they felt too stressful to me. Too many clicks, too much fast micromanagement, etc ... It's really not how I like my games to be.
  6. Played the new Homeworld for about 2 hours now. I think it's fun. So far it offers a really fancy atmosphere with the way everything behaves, the radio chatter, the cutscene setup, etc. Really makes me feel like the captain of a huge crawler. PS: I love how everything places itself around you if set to defend the crawler. If you move somewhere, let everyone go into defend mode and just move the crawler.
  7. It's what I find the most painful. Setups that seem super interesting turn out to be a turd. Man, just think of that "bard school" quest in Skyrim... which was a dumb short quest with a generic loot dungeon or something if I remember right. Suddenly you are a bard. Bleh.
  8. Actually chess-playing, talking radscorpion was always criticised. As well as all the other stupid stuff in Fo2.
  9. But how can anyone who lives in the world *not* know of ghouls? They are everywhere. You can pick up a stone and throw it in a random direction and you'll hit a ghoul hiding under some trash. He will be like *GWOAARRarblwarbl* and run straight up to you.
  10. Roughly 3 hours till the new Homeworld game comes out. I've preordered now and started the preload.
  11. They do age, but slower than humans. Same for super mutants.
  12. Wow, I didn't know he is such a dork.
  13. My take on it is: So far I found all of these Ubisoft games *extremely* boring. Assassins Creed, Far Cry, etc. bore the hell out of me. That one futuristic Anno game probably was the last Ubisoft game I really played for hours without yawning. Maybe because it didn't had any towers to climb? No idea... /Edit: I don't hate Ubisoft, I just don't like most of their games.
  14. Are people still raging about latest gameplay changes?
  15. Dunno, I don't see much of it, to be honest. I rarely watch tv, so I can't really say what the mass media is thinking. All in all it feels like the politic wants to sit this out / remains fully silent as much as possible. From the people I know in my area here, nobody reported negative events related to refugees yet. Just that "they stand at the streets in masses every day" or something along the line. Also occasionally something with prejudice mixed in, but never anything to back up the claims. Me personally, I rarely see any of the refugees. Maybe I live in a too rich area or what, no idea. What *did* happen in the past few weeks, though, is that nobody I know now talks about refugees in a all-good light anymore. It seems as if nobody wants to talk about the issue anymore and as soon as someone does, you get at least one mentioning it being a scary situation, especially for women. Oh, and while I am at it- we had some vigilante groups made up of nazis, bouncer and other such stuff roaming the streets, "cleaning up" with beating up random people who don't look like germans, etc. What I hate the most about it (other than it being vigilantism, which is always bad), is that now they do so while pretending to "protect our women" (which they - honestly - never before gave a shait about). It's real annoying, man.
  16. I just hope it won't end up being always the same gameplay in every mission except for the obvious attack & defend / hold scenarios.
  17. Never finished Iorveth's path, because I hated the maze like dwarf city. It was such a pain to navigate for me... I tried 3 times, and always stopped there after running around there, being all confused and annoyed and stuff.

The Lazarus video has a whole different feeling now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_v5f9TfJrA&feature=youtu.be
  19. Sorry but I'll doubt it. Someone would have tried, then someone would have pulled a gun and then it escalated even more. The real ones to blame here is the police, imo. Not enough men and not enough presence and too slow in their reaction. They should have knocked down this "shooting people with rockets" and stuff the moment it started.

Blackstar arrived two days ago, but I didn't had a chance to listen to it for real yet. Damn, this sucks, but explains why he didn't want to do any shows anymore.
  21. I am no expert, but aren't this gas pistols? They aren't banned here. Ofc it is usually not the smartest idea to wield them in public. Other than that, I'd like to have them all removed from my country simply because of rocket shooting into people. This counts for everyone who does this. There was at least one report about a 27 years old woman who got her leg blown off this time, just because some idiot thought it would be funny to point a crappy czech battery into a group of people. Yeah, and the throwing and shooting of firecrackers on police and firefighters is really low. /Edit: About guns in general- just imagine germans would be carrying guns as well... what do people believe would have happened then? A huge shootout on the streets with real guns instead of firecrackers? Would that be so much better? I doubt.
  22. They announced exactly 0 sun hours for the next couple of days. Madness.
  23. Today I finally learned that I am privileged. http://www.checkmyprivilege.com/checkit
  24. Broken Age probably would have been more popular if it'd be a game about pirates.
  25. There is a difference between pretending to be a city guard in a game and actually *being* a city guard (with tasks and quests) in a game.
