  1. Hahaha. I totally wanted to buy this thing... But 700€ in Germany... No way, nope. It's like all this talk about lower prices was total bs. I mean, keep in mind the consumer version recommends games to run in 90fps.
  2. I remember how I felt betrayed by these repeating quests. I did a few of them because I thought something would happen, but after doing a few of them I slowly figured the game is just feeding me with boring fetch-quests (I honestly thought there were a bunch of BoS kids who wanted to learn from me and then something with plot would happen... Silly me). After that I never picked up any of such quests ever again. You know, something like FNVs Return to Sender, which was mostly a boring slog as well until the awesome ending happens.
  3. Shipwreckers is now called homeworld - deserts of k-somethingsomething.
  4. Bethesda fans like to LARP in their games. They imagine many things. Me personally, I really can't play like that.
  5. Fallout 4 has no skills and the perks could as well not be there, you most likely wouldn't feel a difference. In fact, it probably would make for a better game, because browsing this perk interface is pure hell.
  6. I can rule out 3 for sure, because I never liked BG. :> Also I should continue working on my FNV distillery quest. hmmm.
  7. I wonder what kind of mod projects I will start but won't finish this year.
  8. I haven't seen Morgoth in a while.
  9. You can fast travel. That's what I did if I had to go between two points on the map that would have taken like 10 minutes, real time, to travel on horse. The open world didn't seem like a chore exactly for that reason. First you have to get to the fast travel points. It's still annoying as hell. Also giving me extra menus to click through.
  10. I would love to say wit her 3, but the simple truth is, I have yet to get myself to play through it. The open world thingy is just too off-putting to me. I really, really hate having to ride around all day long to get the interesting quest and dialogue bits I am carving for so much. On the other hand, I think MGSV is the game I've been really addicted to this year (until I finished chapter 1... Then I just pushed through to close the file). This game made so many things right, but also did some really annoying things. Yet for 3 full weeks I did nothing else but eating, sleeping, going to work and then playing MGSV for the remaining day hours.
  11. I am at work right now and it is so, so, so very boring. Nothing happens. No orders, no telephone crap (thankfully) and not much else to do. Time doesn't pass at all. The days before Christmas and Sylvester really are the worst.
  12. Build a bell and ring it to summon everyone to you.
  13. As long as it won't follow all the other same super heroe movie cliches.
  14. Would blow it on blackjack and hookers.
  15. The second half also had so many situations that made me sad, because of all the wasted potential. There could have been so much more possible. Like the whole base / start location, which feels extremely cheap and empty for what it's supposed to be. I wonder if they changed any of that with the DC, but I somehow doubt this. They always only talked about graphic update and voiced dialogue and never about expanded dialogue and quests... Really, more voiced dialouge is the least I'd needed in this game.
  16. 3 dialogues at once? Now that's what I call interactivity of the future.
  17. His definition of railroading is highly flawed. Stopped reading there, it's not worth the anger.
  18. Well, FNV already felt like a huge difference compared to Fo3. Fo4 certainly has the best gunplay of the bunch. I found the fps combat in Fo3 nearly unbearable without pause-mode, while I only rarely used the pause mode in FNV (usually when enemies came too close to me). In Fo4, though, I noticed the same old Vats bugs with the player being unable to effectively click the body part to shoot at... just now that it's only in slow-mo, it's kinda worse in my opinion (click, click, click, click, ffs why can't I target the damn head?).
  19. Looks like something is going on with Steam right now. People are able to login to other accounts and stuff. https://twitter.com/SteamDB/status/680490823226671104
  20. This click-bait title really makes me not want to click it. :>
  21. PayPal helped me save money this xmas. Wanted to buy some stuff, but then... nope, account limited. Had to change my pass, my security questions and identify myself and now it takes a few days for them to check the later. I'll guess they didn't liked how I logged in from a totally different computer and location this time and then locked up my account. Highly annoying, but oh well.
  22. Maybe he'll post a new christmas song.
  23. It took me a while to realize they are backer npcs. The first few confused the hell out of me, because I thought there would be a possibility to further interact with them.
  24. Of course it is because of the open world gameplay, but here is the thing: Everyone is like yadda-yadda, Bethsoft so good in environmental storytelling with skeletons and terminals and stuff, so why not use this to convey the explanation of what ghouls are? The player can stumble over it early or late in game and it won't feel out of place... While talking to an npc about it 100 hours later is hella stupid.
  25. I hated how you could mow down ghouls for hours and then at one point you meet an NPC and you are like "what the hell are ghouls? Tell me about it!"
