@Fellow Obsidian Order Members: I'm getting scared.
Well, they owe me the rewards for my pledge. Oh well, figured something like this would come.

@Fellow Obsidian Order Members: I'm getting scared.
It's really that bad ? I thought that group was just some goofy, harmless fanboys.
-
Are you for or against gaining experience points only for completing objectives?
Hm, shame they've not locked that up before the funding, but oh well, I hope the XP is given per objective - and they can always have sub-objectives that reward different approaches (well ok same thing as objectives, I guess).

What are you playing now
Don't use blink. That would be a whole different kind of game. Not sure how some sneaking would work in that case. Odd mission to get rid of the Lord Regent, heh, magically they believe some audio and I got a low Chaos, despite butchering 5 guards and a dog.

The Obsidian Order of Eternity wants DLUX!
You people are strange. Although I suppose the forum has been without drama as a whole.
-
The End of The Beginning
Well, hopefully the forum quiets down.
-
Which tier did you choose?
Probably against my better judgment I chose the $250 one.
-
Spend the extra money on QA
And you have faith these people will be actually decent playtesters ? I always thought they should have launched two projects, PE and the QA for PE.
-
The Project Eternity success impact
Well, I'm hesitant to think PE will be a big success in the eyes of publishers - wouldn't have needed donations to get it going. Does at least show there's some interest in under-served genres though, I guess that just means more kickstarters.

Romance and friendship?
Yeah, but not much point to that, people need their PC to experience things to be immersed, or something. Although that would be kind of funny in my view if everyone's hooking up and just leaving the PC by their lonesome.

The funny things thread
- Gary Mckinnon, and the debate of extradition
Probably wondering at your "Americans are Nazis!!!" comment. I should read the Guardian comments on this, people there are probably breaking their wrists over the joy that he wasn't going to end up in Gitmo or tortured...for some reason. Also he's a whistleblower Lucky he's not a brown guy, they'd have shipped him off ages ago.- EA gives away free games!
Hm, looking at that list I don't feel too bad about not taking advantage of it. Funny on EA, though.- Xcom
Interesting bug, got stuck on the alien turn and then nothing happened, so there went my Ironman game. The next game got scuppered too when my skyranger froze above the base and I never returned to the base view - save just led to the bug again. Rather annoying, I must say. I think I may have pushed the story a bit too quick though, will try it slow this time.- President Obama
Man, I'm losing my faith in politicians being honest people.- Gary Mckinnon, and the debate of extradition
Well, that scheme worked out for him I guess, heh. Also, Nazis would just kill him outright, zealots tend to not bother with graceful destruction of him.- President Obama
You're a rarity then, well at least online, a lot of them fit that quote in Green Mars about anarchists that want police protection from their slaves- What you did today
Well, hopefully someone finds the cause. Shame people don't come with log files.- Romance and friendship?
Hah, this again. That quote by Avellone should be enough of an answer, though.- Xcom
Nah this is just the case of the RNG magically working out in favour of the AI (when it happens for me, though, it's honest good luck).- Xcom
Nope, just Ironman Normal. Just am not that good at the game- Xcom
Well, my game is a faliure, two missions cost me every experienced trooper, both due to cyberdiscs - could have saved one Lt. but a Rookie zapped him when she was freaking out. I swear these Mutons have amazing aim.- The Kickstarter Thread
Hm, I wonder when Derek Smart will launch a kickstarter.- What you did today
Yeah, the ascent was cool to watch as was the view just before he jumped. Apparently he passed out for a bit though, when he was spinning. Kudos to him to get Red Bull to foot the bill for his dream jump- What you did today
Watched Baumgartner's dive, impressive sights but I hope there's footage from his helmet camera. - Gary Mckinnon, and the debate of extradition
