Things you'd like to see in PE that haven't been done before in a cRPG
Well, it's been done somewhat, but party members reacting strongly to your actions or statements up to the point where they'll betray, rob, leave or attempt to kill you is always nice. Makes your party seem more fleshed out and real. Also, a world where events have their own schedules rather than being on a discrete path set by player actions.

It's the enforced nicety, don't mind it. Don't be too certain of them never doing a romance though, even if they don't extort them with a stretch goal, I have a feeling they'll put in two or so to satisfy these people.

For RP/customization sake, please allow us to keep the same "armor/weapon" look if we want for new euqipment.
It's a minor vanity feature, maybe they could ship it as DLC or a stretch goal. I don't really see the problem as they can fix it by just keeping a theme to the gear and making it all look equally nice. Hopefully we don't end up with massive shoulder pads of ivory and gold and the like - that's done in MMOGs do help drive the loot grinds I'd wager.

Subduing Enemies: Alternative paths to Combat resolution
Hey, the torture sessions were the best part of Dark Heresy, especially as not everyone knew anything due to the DM's discretion. Course it did suit the style of game where it's a hunt/investigation. Should be many ways to subdue targets, if they have a morale system like someone else suggested here that should tie in neatly. You can overmatch them so they surrender, grapple and bind/cripple them. Or just have some magical/technical device to knock them out. Failing to do so and just killing them outright would be a good part of the system as well - obviously depending on what you're trying to do them.

Why, exactly ? Anyway, you can still keep the old gear and wear it for fashion's sake if that..kind of thing appeals to you.

That sometimes category might as well fall into ambivalence as well., in addition to the 92 that are against it or don't care. Yeah there's lots of requests for all kinds of assorted junk, only things that matters is what the developers say. If you liked BG and PS:T, that should be enough for you to jump in, I'd say.

Whiney bunch in here. OP starts off with it I suppose - early days to be wondering "Will this game be too hard for me?" Put it on easy, if such a setting will exist, and give it your best shot. Or as they say in EVE, HTFU.

Best we can hope for. Well, maybe, if you try to hit on a party member he or she will just leave the group and/or try to assault you or kill you - depending on how repeated said attempts are.

Eh, improve the game, well that's up to the player I suppose, doing it right would probably chew time better spent in this case. But alright I stand corrected, usually when people use belong it implies some necessity in my experience. Also, is Merin a moderator yet ?

Well, to be fair, looking at games it's a reasonable expectation that romance = boinking blue alien/busty witch/etc. Romance 'belonging' - I assume you mean it must be present by this - I'm not too agreeable with. More like fluff, to me, ignoring the weirdness that some people get into regarding it. It's not really a sign that the medium is maturing, good stories to the games and well crafted worlds is probably a better sign for this genre at least (games 'maturing' is pretty nebulous and one of those things you find in high minded articles, I think). As for movies, err, not really sure that's the case, and it's different as movies aren't interactive as games are.
