  1. Farming for rare mounts in WoW, Midnight is eluding me even after 13 runs this week. But at least got 2/3 of the Dragon Soul mounts and A'lar, doing the fomer is tedious with the RP segments but the amateurish voice acting does give me a bit of a laugh. Will farm for the Antorus demon mount for no real reason, guess will look cool with my warlock Also starting D4, being crazy and doing something other than a rogue this season.
  2. Lacuna. Nice style to the game, the investigation puzzles are simple but good enough. Definitely a game to grab on sale
  3. https://ici.radio-canada.ca/rci/en/news/2178416/canadian-wildfire-smoke-ruining-americans-summer We should send them thoughts and prayers.
  4. https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2025-07-07/ty-article/.premium/defense-minister-israel-to-concentrate-all-gaza-population-in-rafah-humanitarian-zone/00000197-e56a-d1ad-ab97-e5ef764e0000 Kudos to Haaretz for that headline. IDF leadership isn't keen on the idea
  5. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/07/07/trump-tariffs-trade-letters-japan.html Serious letters sent to other nations. Not even 6 months into this bull**** too.
  6. https://nytimes.com/2025/07/05/us/politics/texas-floods-warnings-vacancies.html "In an interview, Rob Kelly, the Kerr County judge and its most senior elected official, said the county did not have a warning system because such systems are expensive, and local residents are resistant to new spending. “Taxpayers won’t pay for it,” Mr. Kelly said. Asked if people might reconsider in light of the catastrophe, he said, “I don’t know.” "
  7. Kenneth Colley, well, died on June 30th. I liked him in Firefox
  8. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/07/01/powell-confirms-that-the-fed-would-have-cut-by-now-were-it-not-for-tariffs.html "When asked during a panel if the Fed would have lowered rates again this year had Trump not announced his controversial plan to impose higher levies on imported goods earlier this year, Powell said, "I think that's right.""
  9. Canada Day here, at least it's a day off. Still babysitting some process, amazing idea we had to chuck cache files in ONE S3 bucket. So trying to remove a day's worth has to be done pretty brute force. Windows also sucks for not having something as simple as nohup.
  10. Back home the British used to play the Indians and Black people against each other, to this day it still causes problems in the country. Luckily nothing near race wars, but the politics are still divisive. Hatreds have a long tail.
  11. Think I am done with Door Kickers 2, not a fan of the CIA squad and the Nowheraki (great name, better than Carbombya, I guess) SWAT are such trash it's tedious.
  12. Didn't write that it was. But I see Americans and Anglos take a binary approach to it so often, for a pretty obvious reason. Same with 'analysis' of Haitian history.
  13. If I shoot you in the knees, your marathon career later will be impacted. It isn't a simple thing, and not one thing is to blame for any nation being where it is, but hard to deny the knock on effects of colonialism, Africa being a Cold War battlefield. Belgium for example, has a lot to answer for.
  14. Canada caved on our digital sales tax, I guess that is something we can afford to give up to spare some other tantrum. Only issue is the Americans won't stop there, I gues
  15. Nothing like missing key emails on my dental insurance due to sheer noise in my inbox Ahh, ****
  16. Hegseth's ranting about the Iran bombing is something else. Also, calling it the most complex operation in history is peak Trump administration.
  17. https://www.pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/the-stop-killing-games-initiative-is-close-to-its-final-deadline-and-after-that-its-leader-is-understandably-done-either-the-frog-hops-out-of-the-pot-or-its-dead/ Guess games are dead
  18. https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/24/politics/intel-assessment-us-strikes-iran-nuclear-sites "The analysis of the damage to the sites and the impact of the strikes on Iran’s nuclear ambitions is ongoing, and could change as more intelligence becomes available. But the early findings are at odds with President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that the strikes “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth also said on Sunday that Iran’s nuclear ambitions “have been obliterated.” "
