If it's a good book, yah. I am running out of space otherwise. Books have the nice perk of not being subject to post purchase changes from Amazon or whoever, heh Watching Eurovision today, for some reason. Also was listening to some Russian music but it's actually propaganda (Слаава ВДВ)

Think I will give Kobo a go, I still have a Fire so I suppose I can still get books from Amazon if need be.

Amazon cutting off my veteran Kindle soon, which is annoying. Might get a new Kindle, although I guess I could get a Kobo - although that means buying books would make me have to use Indigo here, an equally scumbag corporation.

Takes me back to 2006, used to be on a Shoutcast station I listened to at work constantly.

Got a nice charm set where my imbuements always have shadow, plays nice with cold. Well on T5 anyway. Eventually have to fight bosses with the one shot BS

Ted Turner, quite a life

Have to respect the grift

https://www.axios.com/2026/05/03/trump-us-navy-iran-ships-strait-hormuz The new Hormuz Strait initiative will not necessarily include U.S. Navy ships escorting commercial ships, according to two American officials. One of the officials said U.S. Navy ships will be "in the vicinity" in case they need to prevent Iran's military from attacking commercial ships moving through the strait. The officials said the U.S. navy is going to provide commercial ships with information on the best maritime lanes in the strait especially when it comes to using lanes that were not mined by the Iranian military. Seems half assed.

Change controls at work have decided to take inspiration from 40k. A P1 occurred because we didn't have approval to make a 30 s code change to a stored procedure as we only had one approver available. On the bright side, I found some pencils I bought in 1998. Amazing how better quality they are than modern pencils I get now, even if they were cheapo Berol Eagle HBs from Staples at the time.

War plans in D4 LoH seem incomplete. I need JIRA and a end of list retrospective with Tyrael.

AP NewsTrump says he'll place 25% tariff on autos from the EU, a...The head of the European Parliament trade committee calls President Donald Trump’s tariff hike on European Union automobiles “unacceptable.”Tantrum over Hormuz continues

Finished the LoH campaign, that was a fun experience. Not sure why the music seems to be not normalized, Mephisto was assaulting me with the discordant strings They did a decent job making Lilith a bit more grey. Inarius not only sucks as a character but his boss fight was a pain Spoiler near the ending Other than that, the changes seem fun, nice to not have to chase affixes for my flurry rogue, trying to be a frost rogue - can get a good bit of Overpower and Ferocity there, and the barrier and fortify help with certain legendaries. I've always been poison as I dislike change.

Challenge accepted

https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2026/apr/21/ecuador-us-boat-strike-survivors Luckily Blue Team gets away with stuff like this with a shrug.

I had missed that, that's hilarious. And people doubted that "relatively civilised" remark

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.287645/gov.uscourts.dcd.287645.79.0.pdf It's like Trump wrote this "DEFENDANTS’ RULE 62.1 MOTION FOR AN INDICATIVE RULING DISSOLVING THE COURT’S INJUNCTION “The National Trust for Historic Preservation” is a beautiful name, but even their name is FAKE because when they add the words “in the United States” to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, it makes it sound like a Governmental Agency, which it is not. In fact, the United States refused to continue funding it in 2005 because they strongly disagreed with their mission and objectives. They are very bad for our Country. They stop many projects that are worthy, and hurt many others. In this case, they are trying to stop one that is vital to our National Security, and the Safety of all Presidents of the United States, both current and future, their families, staff, and Cabinet members. They were asked by the United States Military not to bring this suit because of the Top Secret nature of the important facility being built. They were shown detailed plans and specifications of this knitted, unified, and cohesive structure by Top Officers and Leaders in both the Military and Secret Service. But this did not deter them because they suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, commonly referred to as TDS, as noted by Democrat Senator John Fetterman, of Pennsylvania, and are represented by the lawyer for Barack Hussein Obama, Gregory Craig"

I think the playerbase hated her or something.

They should give Obsidian to make an RPG in the Diablo setting. I am eager to fish in Diablo

Kyiv Post‘This Is Not Business’: Zelensky Slams Grain Scheme, Prep...Zelensky warns of new sanctions after another ship carrying allegedly stolen Ukrainian grain reaches Israel, urging action against buyers and transporters in the scheme. Ukraine not knowing their place again.

https://apnews.com/article/us-iran-war-hormuz-april-27-2026-374d81d1aac6d8f19c21e1d1e10ab103 Trump should take the deal, based off his comments previously, save himself some work.

I guess Gorth had to explicitly mention it's about increased likelihoods, not guarantees.

The Slava Ukraini crowd don't care about dead Blacks, so no issue.

Started on SimCity 4 but wonder if I should start with that or one of the earlier ones

Meh, who cares, really.
