  1. All keys can be found at https://eternity.obsidian.net/ Login with your forum username and password if you are not logged in already, click your username top right corner, select My Products and you should be able to generate your Steam/GOG key there.* * It has been quite awhile I had to do this myself so I don't remember all the details but I believe the email address you used in KS and on these forums has to be the same(?). In any case, if you can't find your key or there are any other problems, email to support.
  2. How is saying the game is number 35 on steam a false assumption with no evidence? I'll use your own logic and point out that the basic version is number 5 and Obsidian edition (which costs over $80) number 25 in GOG so it must have sold millions and is now on it's way to being the most successful game ever. Being "number 35" on Steam tells us absolutely nothing. How many copies did it sell this week and how many overall to this date? Does your numbers take into account every place it is been sold or just Steam? Start with that and let's continue from there.
  3. That Fig Ultimate Edition and Downloadable Content thing is kinda confusing. Back in Fig campaign I put $20 extra for expansion(s) because at the time they were not going to include it with any edition. Now as there were change in plans, it is now supposed to come with fig edition, obsidian edition and whatever but I still have only one key in my products. I did not ask for refunds for the separate DLC.
  4. If you have activated it on Steam, there should be Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire in your library and you should be able to preload it. Backer Beta does not change into a full release. You need to get the full release key from eternity.obsidian.net and activate it on Steam (or GOG if that is what you prefer).
  5. I'm thinking the 6th companion is a dwarf. Then we have at least one of each.
  6. All decisions about remaster, rerelease etc are made by Bethesda, not Obsidian.
  7. If you are talking about the same spirit I think you are, that is not the spirit that gives you the password. The spirit in upper right corner of the level is the one though I can't remember if you had to do something specific or do you have to have to do a skill check etc to get it to give you the password. Unfortunately I don't know any workarounds if that doesn't work.
  8. And so with the 1.8m stretch goal all my speculations about the number of companions were thrown out of the window. Oh well. I hope it's a priest, there needs to be a priest. Pretty sure there will be a priest, I'm guessing there will be at least one of every class like in the first game. This morning while I was having my morning coffee I watched the campaign launch trailer again because I didn't have anything better to do and I noticed in a few combat scenes that there was two other characters with Éder, Aloth and Pallegina; fire godlike and a lady with a red hair that looked like a human or an elf. I assume the other one was PC and the other one a possible companion but which one is which? I hope we will have fewer companions this time with more substance. Seeing how party size is reduced as well it would make sense. PoE1 had too many shallow companions, larger half of whom were always sitting in stronghold anyway. And if 1.8m stretch goal is the seventh companion of the game, it is possible that Obsidian agrees with you.

  10. Any guesses if it has gone to production or still in pre-production? I assume publisher has actually picked it up at this point if it is still ongoing.
  11. Does anyone actually have any credible sources for that party size or is it the usual "there are 5 characters in a concept art so it MUST be true!" ?
  12. Arcanum is owned by Activision and I doubt they are very interested in doing anything with the license, including selling it.
  13. My all-knowing magical 8-ball said that Tyranny was supposed to be the unannounced KS project but then Paradox came along and said "hey, POE seems to be coming along nicely, how about we deepen our partnership. What if we fund your next similar project so you don't have to use Kickstarter for it?" and that is why there never was that rumored KS project. The magical 8-ball also said that while it cannot be 100% sure, in light of these recent findings there is a good possibility that the Louisiana is POE2 or something else related to the setting. For project Indiana however it said that the reply is hazy and that I should ask again later. If someone didn't get it from this post, all of this is pure speculation and I do not have any insider info about any of this, just my gut feeling and the magical 8-ball.
  14. Just noticed that I have -20 concentration as an active effect on my party members. It doesn't say what is causing it so I'm assuming it is leftover from the Plague of Insects bug (got it in Nalrend the Wise encounter, visual effects, icon etc went away after the patch but this effect remains). For some reason these forums are not allowing me to attach a screenshot and is not telling me why (giving me "Error This upload failed. file was .jpg, under 1MB) so I'll just post a link to it for now. Link to screenshot Dropbox link to savegame Edit: Resting does not remove the effect but dismissing and recruiting a companion back does. Unfortunately my main has it too...
  15. I'm not much of a poster on these forums, even less after the KS campaign launched in 2012 but now I felt I had to even though I know I'm just wasting my time. You guys have weird priorities. I put quite a lot of money in PoE and I'm still not complaining. 1. I don't need my signed CE box for anything except for display. WHOPDIDOO! And almost all the extra crap in the box we already got in digital. 2. I am getting them eventually. 3. I knew I wouldn't get them for launch (I've never received my physical backer rewards in time and I knew this won't be any different, at least Obsidian tried and that's a lot more than some of the other have done) 4. I have already received the reason I gave Obsidian my money. . Everyone wants all their rewards, I get that. I do too but this has to stop. You backed PoE so Obsidian could make the game, yes? We got it and it's great*, everything else should be extra. They are doing the best they can. And not backing the next project because of this. Wtf? If this is the biggest problem then you really should've used the money somewhere else in the first place. Like I said, I put a lot of money in their KS campaign (and I was unemployed back then), I haven't received my physical rewards and I still would back their next game if they had to get the funding through crowdfunding. And about some of the rewards being late, I don't know what's going on with Avellone's novel but I do know that they wanted to get something from the launch party included, should they have had the launch party a few weeks or a month before just so they could have it ready for launch? They are not filming a home video here, editing etc takes time. End of rant. Edit: On topic - maybe something sci-fi next? Perhaps turn-based, isometric and.... stuff. * Opinions and personal experiences may differ
  16. I think Altazor posted a link to his save game in the same thread.
  17. Not going to repeat what has already been said about why changing engines would be bad idea etc. but... For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uECjdRZVjjw Done with Unity. Looks pretty good to me. And the stuff you can do with Unity 5 later.
  18. I believe that is Test Drive. Had fun with it back in the day.
  19. My magical 8 ball guesses it is Pathfinder PC game or ground work to the possible new KS funded game.
  20. Not only you can pause the combat, you can slow down the game from normal. That actually helps a little in following combat. The biggest problem (imo) in combat at the moment is that it doesn't give enough feedback. You are never sure who is attacking who, if your commands went through, etc. Not to mention the bugs in combat (e.g. auto-attack does not always work).
  21. It's not $110 for beta access. It's $110 for a bunch of stuff that INCLUDES a beta access. There's a difference. And like AndreaColombo said, you'll get beta access for $25 as an addon.
  22. Noticed something that should be added to this. Stacking items makes the stacked item to disappear. For example: BB Fighter has 3 bags of grain in one stack. BB Rogue has 2 bags of grain in one stack. BB Rogue gives her stack of grain to BB Fighter combining the stacks (5 bags of grain in one stack). After this you can't move the grain in BB Fighter's inventory anymore but if you pick up something else in his inventory, the stack of grain disappears. If BB Rogue gives her bags of grain to BB Fighter without combining the stacks it doesn't happen but as soon as you combine the stacks they are gone. Did that make any sense? Like CatatonicMan wrote, it doesn't seem to happen when starting a new game, only after loading a saved game.
