As we see there is a huge statue under the dungeon. What's that mean? Does it mean this place use to be an ancient city? Maybe the city was covered by a terrible earthquake thousands years ago. Recently, when someone builded the mega dungeon, the city was found again. Let's guess more. Maybe the big boss of the dungeon is an elder race(this race can't be choiced by players) survivor who hibernating in the bottom floor(15 floor I wish ). And he have great knowledge and special power(Sounded like Alien:Prometheus ). Maybe he will summon giant monster from other space to attack players if the communicaiton failed. At last we can beat him and try to convince him to join our team, as a very cool companion. bringing him back to a totally different society will lead to many funny stories. How about you guys think? What will the story of mega dungeon be in you opinion?

As we know the companions in BG2 had different alignemts and strong personality. For example, If you did something evil, the old paladin(凯东,don't know the English name ) would try to stop you or even become your enemy. Now I just want to ask, will the companions in PE have such strong faith like that? I mean, if I try do become a totally evil guy, cruelly muider innocent people, frame despicable conspiracy, poison, black magic, sacrifice other people for my own profit(Yes, there is a monster hidding in my heart ), Could I still have five companions following me? And, are they just follow me saddly? Or I can build a totally evil team? Bottom line, will PE allow me to do such choice in my advantage? And will those choices have enough consequences on my companions?

Yes the Endless Paths ... will end , when the Kickstarter is over. As to your second question, of course there is a chance. Spread the word, tell your friends. We can do this. Hey Boddy~ How do you think to set 3-4 small stretch goals between 3.0M to 3.5M? Maybe the idea can push the last mile for us. The small stretch goals could be very trivial such as a new language translation or some new music, just make backers feel it's not too far to archieve the last goal. For me ,the best mini goal is at least one new companion. You see even PS:T have 7 companions, which are so unique! How many compainions did we have in BG2? I can't remember the exact number, but, really big. So, consider it please -

My feeling, 3.5M goal is still possible, if there will be some new exciting updates in the last 2 days. -
Even if he is, he looks almost nothing like one. Aye, the sandals and the armwraps are definitely Asian inspired. In fact, in ancient asia no one wear such kind of sandal. If they do like asian inspired, they can add a clogs. About our dear Forton, I wish he can find a better tattooists if he didn't come from Neverwinter City. Also, if his hairline can move a bit down, the hair style will be better. Now it really looks like a old lady. And the color, simple white is fine, please not pink! Hopefully, someone Obsidian is taking some of the feedback into consideration and improves on the concept art a bit. The portrait isn't colored yet, so I don't think we need to worry. Probably the artist will get back to coloring it later. Yes, I'm sure about that. Now I just wish they can give us some new attractive stuffs in the last 3 days to make extra push on the funding .

PVP/duels?
bronzepoem replied to Freshock's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
No, we like PVP because we think BG1&2 were RPG. We think NWN1&2 were RPG. -
Try to bear in mind that this piece was probably done on a pretty tight timeline. It's concept art, it's not going to be perfect in every detail. Obsessing over the details of his pants misses the point of a concept rendering like this; it's supposed evoke a "feeling" about a particular character, not be a design template that will be reproduced stitch for stitch in-game. Maybe. But I think for this time we only have 3 days to go, a cooler and more attractive concept art is really needed.
