It's fantasy, with too many badly written sex scenes. The first book was alright (by fantasy standards) but it quickly went from ok to uninteresting and too complicated.

I think it's awesome that L. Ron used to worship satan. Scientology started as a clumsy scam in the form of a self-help book. It's a miracle that it got as big as it is now, all other similar cults have either gone out with a blast or just faded away. They must be doing something right. Sucks about Jason Lee being a member though, he's a badass.

Diablo 3 while high on marijuana will be the best. Add some YOB or any similar spacey doom and I'll never need any other entertainment ever (until Diablo 4).

Good 3rd person action games are pretty rare on the PC so I'll probably get this, can't remember the last one I enjoyed was (maybe Assassins Creed?). Unless it has some really ****ty DRM that is.

Are there any MP3 players with a changeable battery anymore? The battery on my 1st gen Nano is dying but otherwise it's working like a charm, super annoying. It's only 4 gb though, I have to change the contents almost every day. What would you guys recommend for music listening only, doesn't have to support any other formats than mp3. Long battery life and drag and drop are also high priorities.

Once you have good enough audio equipment you will. But I guess if you listen to music from iPod earbuds or a laptop speaker you wouldn't hear the difference.

I dont get why anyone buys MP3's. FLAC or other lossless format maybe, if you don't care for physical objects but MP3? That's like paying for a book that has a printing error, or a movie on an old worn-out VHS. Sure it's adequate, but if you're gonna spend money why not spend it on the real thing.

I've played this since it cost 10 bucks. Probably well over 200 hours over the years. Nowadays the game is just too easy. I know how the AI works so I can just breeze through almost anything and avoid anything I can't handle. A well done content mod is what I look forward the most, with a good setting and a lot of other stuff to do than just combat. Does anyone remember that samurai mod for 0.801? The sword combat in it was awesome.

Still waiting for a new version of that LOTR mod, or a decent mod of A Song Of Ice And Fire. I didn't like the books, but the setting would be perfect for a game like M&B.

Exactly. This is tainting the image of the whole music industry. The few in this thread in favour of these fines are a small minority. Most (young) people see RIAA as the embodiment of corporate greed.

Alright, I'll admit rape is maybe a bit too extreme of an example, but I could think of dozens of fineable offences that are a lot worse than downloading and unknowingly sharing a few songs on the internet. Hell, most fineable offences are! DIU gets 14 to 30 days in jail (or if you're rich, 4) and you've just risked a number of lives. I bet that woman would take 30 days, or even a year in jail over that 2 million.

Did you miss the part where she could have settled for about $3500? She chose to take it to trial. Yes, a dumb move considering she lied to the police and changed her harddrive to a new one and gave it in as evidence. Still, even rapists get off easier. To clarify; yes she broke the law, yes she didn't take the settlement and went to court without a case and yes she probably deserved to lose. But 2 million is way, WAY too much money for a teeny tiny offense like this which probably half the court were also guilty of.

Obviously actually debating the pros and cons of filesharing is a bannable offense here, so carry on with your bashing of a single mother whos had her life ruined by a couple of low quality mp3s. edit: Think about this: she would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist had she actually shoplifted these CDs

There really isn't much of a gray area here. When you download media, or make available for download, when that media isn't being offered for free, it is theft. You are stealing from the creator and the publisher, who have all put time and money into creating that product. I'm not sure why people have such a hard time understanding that. No thats not true, it's not theft, it's copyright infringement. Its like calling someone who wants to have sex with teenagers a pedophile or killing an animal murder. It's not the same thing despite how many times you say it.

I believe that how we treat our prisoners is a measure of our civilization. Kill em outright? Might as well live in the middle ages. I don't think any of you who say that all murderers should be shot behind the sauna really enjoyed living with such laws. How many of you would like to move to Taleban-era Afghanistan? They really knew how to be cost effective with their sentencing.

Good news is this will get cracked two days after it gets released, so all you need is to crack your copy if you run out of activations.

It was a design flaw for sure, and one that the recent Sword Coast Stratagem-mods fix. No more cheesing! This I actually don't regard as a flaw, since every one of the IE games (with maybe the exception of IWD2, since I haven't played it) are very beatable with any character, and having high or low stats didn't really change the role playing experience either. I guess dnd geeks find that a flaw, but IMO it's a great thing since when I first played them, I was in my early teens and knew basically nothing about dnd, and that didn't hamper my experience at all.

So he was the "project manager" of a 3-year vapourware project with an end product he doesn't want to use himself, despite making the type of game the engine was made for. I think what we'll see is another Project FIFE. No offense dude but one great programmer is worth 10 project managers (100 of the kind who can't manage a project).

Being unoriginal is the least of your worries. Do you have any idea how much work goes into making a full game? It takes years of work from a dedicated team of skilled people. If you're planning on having any authority you better start learning some basic game development skills (coding, modeling etc.) and fast.

This project is doomed from the start, heh. You're basically doing Fallout with the Soviet Union instead of China. How about some originality? Post apocalypse is fine, just make it a bit more interesting than nuclear holocaust. A comet? How about Yellowstone explodes, leaving the whole USA in smoking ruin and the last "civilized" people are in say a small island in the pacific? Put an original twist to it, your idea as it is just screams of unoriginality. And learn to code or model or something if you want your game to get done for christ sakes, no one will take you seriously if all you have are "great" ideas ripped off from Fallout.

Riddick was awesome, I wish they'll do System Shock 3. I bet this be good and hopefully will come out of the PC as well (with no draconic DRM!).

Steam is the best. You can burn a back up on dvd if you want. Only issue I have is that you can't transfer games from one account to another.

A minor one. The blood effects were accidentally disabled and so the update simply fixes that. Could you please a link on where to get it? I can't seem to abled to find it via google.
