Not even close to.. BREAKING NEWS: FALLOUT3
Lare Kikkeli replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Computer and Console
Yeah gotta agree with Vol here. They just didn't care enough to put a demo up. That's not to say F3 won't be a complete failure though. -
My awful computer needs an update. Bad.

AFAIK 32bit XP can utilize something like 3.75 gb of ram. I don't think the missing 0.25 is worth Vista. -

Copy protection iirc. -
I can get at least 50 FPS from COD4, NWN2 and TF2 with everything maxed out on 1440x900 no matter how much stuff is happening on screen.

Has Emily traversed the uncanny valley?
Lare Kikkeli replied to Moatilliatta's topic in Computer and Console
I'd hit that. -
TF2 and CoD4 single player. I just can't seem to get into NWN2, the whole thing just feels clunky and awkward and I'm sick and tired of cookie cutter fanfasy. I'm considering buying Mass Effect for the PC, is it any good? At least the setting looks kind of promising, if a bit bland and cliched.

SCS for Tutu/BG1, SCSII for BG2. Also forgot that BG2 fix and tweak pack work for Tutu and Trilogy. But yeah some components on those two are pretty essential.

Can't remember if I posted this already... Chocolate. Best martial arts flick in recent memory. If you're a fan of martial arts, do yourself a favour and watch this. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183252/

Essential: EasyTUTU BG1Tutu Enhancements BG1 Unfinished Business Sword Coast Stratagems (makes the game a whole new experience) Optional: The Fields of the Dead (Dunno about compatibility with SCS, seems to do a lot of the same things) Baldur's Gate Mini Quests and Encounters (If it's compatible with SCS. Adds a few quests) The BG1 NPC Project (if you like fanfic-quality writing and awkward romances ) Widescreen mod (Pretty cool if you can get it to work, I couldn't on my old computer) I played BG1 with the essential mods + the NPC Project last time, and I had a blast. Adds some flavour, but doesn't change the game too much. I'm thinking of starting a new game soon, and will probably try if Fields of the Dead and Mini Quests are compatible with SCS.

There are loads of mods, too. The best so far was the Lord of the Rings mod, with custom orc, cave troll, giant wolf etc. models. It was for 0.81 though, and since the game changed so much with each update the developers decided to wait for 1.0 before updating it again.

It is awesome. I bought it a few years ago and have been playing it since. The versions have been getting more and more polished and they're adding content every month now. I suggest buying it right away, the release date is a month from now and you'll save a couple of bucks if you buy it now. It is one of the best games ever in my opinion. A word of caution though, it's not really an RPG. Medieval warfare/combat simulation with a few RPG mechanics would be closer to the truth, at least for now.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
Lare Kikkeli replied to Llyranor's topic in Computer and Console
Jaesun, that's a really lazy attemp at ridicule. Giving players second chances is a good thing, provided they do it in a way that you can still get a different experience on a replay. Just because you have an option to do good quests as a bad guy doesn't mean everyone treats you the same no matter what your karma is (and as much was said in that quote you posted). -
Assassins Creed is pretty cool. I really dig the washed out visual style, and although the combat is too easy it's looks pretty cool and just running into and punching random people is really funny. This game was made for being a jerk. I haven't actually done any missions (assassinations) yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. Fingers crossed for a sequel.

Go ahead Jaesun, I'm interested.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir Discussion
Lare Kikkeli replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Computer and Console
As far as I know you have the 4 party members you create yourself, and cohorts are like henchmen in NWN1, in that you can't control them directly. Muscle for hire basically. -
sort of... i think milk teeth are teeth that babies are actually born with, as opposed to the first set of teeth that children get beginning around 1 year of age which are often referred to as "baby teeth." i think milk teeth fall out before the official "baby teeth" come in. taks No I just think it's a different name for the same thing. They're "milk teeth" in finnish as well.

Dane Cook is an unfunny hack who should be banned from stand-up. If you want good stuff, listen to some Carlin, Hedberg or even old Eddie Murphy.

Assassins Creed. God damn, this game could have been so much more! The scifi plot is stupid, but I think I could let it slide if we get Assassins Creed 2 in a Minority Report/Children of Men type world. That would kick some serious ass. Too bad the combat is way too easy, and the camera kind of sucks.

pain in the arse to set up. it did not add enough for me to get excited about it. taks There's a new version out called easytutu thats really easy to set up, you just choose where you have BG2 and BG1 and where you want to intall tutu and it does the rest. Also you can uninstall BG1 after you've installed Tutu. IMO the higher resolutions alone are worth it, but getting highlight, better weapon proficiences and with mods ammo and potion cases and gem bags it really makes BG1 a better experience. Also there's a mod called Sword Coast Stratagems that makes the game a bit more challenging, but unlike Tactics it doesn't cheat, it's just scripting and moving some encounters around. It's almost like a new game. sidenote: Gromnir tried sword coast strategems a while back and had problems... probably dowloaded into wrong file or something. still have the file, but not loaded and the readme is kinda wonky. you know if this thing should be extracted to tutu file or override? might try bg in future. should probably simply download new version o' strategems... *shrug* HA! Good Fun! It's a weidu mod, so you just have to put it in the root of your tutu folder. And you def should get the latest version.

You probably used an old version, the latest one is as stable as BG1. I know your type, you experience one bug or crash and you vow never to use the program ever again. You and Sand both.
