  1. There is no ingame way of doing this.
  2. The console versions of the game is set to be released some time in Q4 of this year, and the port will be outsourced to Red Cerberus.
  3. I find it unlikely that setting the state in the game will have as much specificity as importing a save - simply because that would mean there would be an overwhelming number of settings you would have to power through. That being said, I think you will only lose out on some very minor callback and changes - and considering your enthusiasm for being able to play Deadfire on the go, it might still be a good trade-off. Besides, the console versions won't be out until Q4 of this year, while Deadfire will be out in the third of April, so you will have a fair bit of time to read up on how comprehensively you can set the game state (I have a hard time imagining that they will give you fewer states to set for the consoles than the PC - that would actively require work, and choosing dropdown values or setting a slider is a solved problem on consoles).
  4. Yup. It shoukd be in your save directory and its name end in "GAMECOMPLETE.savegame" - that should be all you need.
  5. No one has gotten the DLC key yet. There has been no official word, but I think it is safe to say that people who have bought the DLC add-on will get the DLC key(s) when we get closer to their release.
  6. Of course. My pernament tablet game. Josh mentioned in recent interview they had a look at FTL when designing the system. Link to said interview.
  7. Ah that's nice to hear about, so we might see more improvement then? Good to know that Josh plays FTL too! We may see changes/improvements to the ship combat, but in the interview Boeroer mentioned, Josh mentioned that FTL was one of their inspirations, but it is clear from the context that they took what they thought were basic principles from FTL, not the presentation/form, and made their own system that incorporated those principles.
  8. Why does it matter whether it is downloadable for the Switch or not? Is it a question of disk space? Download time/bandwith? Does the same apply to the games you play on your computer?
  9. Nm - was about a future enhancement, not the current state.
  10. Same - game keys are only become useful to me when they can be redeemed for a functional game, at any point in time before that I don't care whether I have it or not.
  11. Obsidian extended the crowdfunding deadline after the Fig campaign ended, but they also ended that months ago - without hitting the streachgoal of getting Ydwin or fishing into the game. When making a project of this size, there comes a point where you will have to freeze its feature set, even if you have a steady or semi-steady stream of money coming in, or you will be unable to get a complete project out the door.
  12. How long was it after the release of the base game? I guess a lot of people lost interest and moved onto other things. There's so much new stuff being chucked at our faces all the time. PoE was released on the 26th of March 2015, while WM1 was released on the 25th of August 2015 - almost 5 months later. WM2 was released on the 16th of February 2016, around 11 months after PoE, and 6 months after WM2.
  13. The game market has changed a lot in the intervening years. A lot of people have come to expect full voice acting from big RPGs, and are turned off when its not there. Part of it is the fact that a lot of people who play RPGs now have grown up in the interval between the IE games and now, the fact that RPGs have become more mainstream (for both good and ill), and that full voice acting has become the mainstream norm. So no, I don't think that is a given.
  14. I feel PoE2 could do with a smidgen more humor than PoE1.
  15. Looks fine to me and I also like that the Amoua really rowers over all the others
  16. Good news! The physical tiers are back for a limited period. It seems you need a initial digital pledge before you can upgrade, but otherwise you seem to be all set.
  17. I an sorry, but I am afraid you linked to the incorrect tweet: https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/940416017942974464
  18. Josh confirmed in the last stream that you will be able to respec your character if you import a PoE1 save.
  19. I don't think there has and I don't think there will be.
  20. Seems like we are going to get a quest or two from Josh in the game https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/922953240529977346
  21. I think Alpha Protocol is a good RPG with medicore third person shooting and minigames. It is also fairly short (about 20 hours for a single playthrough) and it is very reactive to your choices. I liked it. If nothing else it is an interesting exploration of a free-flowing dialogue system and a focus on choice-and-consequences instead of choice-and-success/failure.
