it's enough to play most of the today games on 1680x1050 and almost full details... no antialiasing... not gonna bother to invest in new PC with such retarded DRM like we have today on many games... not worth the money...

what? i have single core AMD 2.2Ghz and maximum load time i have ever had was 1 minute...

After I get my Shadowdancer level , maybe at 7th I'll pick up the SD armor that Deekin offers, looks sweet and get the free weapon finesse feat, have to find a way to increase Charisma to lower the 59,000+ price tag. That's pretty weird since FADE is supposed to work by having certain sectors on the DVD marked. You don't get a DVD with Steam, so one would think that FADE would be useless. Damn developers not being upfront about their crappy DRM, they own the customers at least that. it might look for modified original files... which might happen that if you are unlucky and get some virus before you notice it, your game is gone aswell...

That doesn't make it a single player game. While I don't like DRM, I think that this actually has some benefits, unlike the limited activation thing. Such as persistent stats and whatnot. the stats are not worth the loss of the ability to play it anytime you want, even if your ISP has some technical fault...

Having to be online to play is better than having a limited number of activations. Until they turn off the server... software with limited activation can be used after that, untill you reinstall your PC, or you use some less conventional means (you know what i mean ) But online only Single player game??? nothing will help you ever unless you are so pro that you buy yourself a computer and set up there fully functional cracked virtual server so you can play the game after big shutdown... i never thought i would say it but i take limited activation game over online only any day... in our country it is legal to circumvent DRM for product you purchased legaly... I somehow doubt that this won't get cracked, and you won't be needing a virtual server for that. Also, It's not a single player game. You can play it single player, but it also has co-op and vs modes, it's like Left 4 Dead. It might be very strange for you, but C&C games were always Single Player games for me

That's so 2008, man. What new game has limited activations? Even Bioware dropped the DRM on Dragon Age. Over here PC games cost around $50-$60 and console games cost $90-$100.(converted) DA is not released yet... And with the current stunt pulled by EA on C&C 4 i would not be surprised if DA will be "online only" aswell... Ubisoft is in making of new "antipiracy measure" aswell... i am realy curious what that will be... I realy wish it will be something different than new sort of DRM mechanism... but i am realy sceptic about it...

Yeah I buy all my games in the UK by post... Because even old games like Metal Gear Solid 4 or Devil May Cry 4 still cost here about 2500 old SKK (aprox 82 new EUR) which is totaly retarded and people are still wondering why is piracy so common in ex-communistic countries...

how does it play btw? tbh i never ever played with Bard (not even in group) in 3.0 & 3.5 based CRPGs... But i loved them in 2nd edition games...

Problem with 1.22 is that AoE spells cast by your party does not damage your party even on highest difficulty... 1.23 has problems only if you have external USB CD/DVD-ROM... if you dont have, i recommend it to apply asap, many fixes for game in there aswell!!!

my current SoZ playthrough Strongheart Halfling Rogue/Shadow Thief of Amn/Invisible Blade Gray Orc Cleric/War Priest Duergar Fighter/Neverwinter Nine/Dwarven Defender Rock Gnome Wizard/Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep And I played OC and MotB with pure Wizard

Yeah OC is pretty much the weakest campaign of the whole pack, i was kinda dissapointed about it when i played it for 1st time, but at the end i had my share of fun So dont stop to play and if you want more fun, don't make yourself powerful character and make some "in-house rules" for yourself, like only 1 rest allowed per dungeon (that for example made the game more fun for me at 2nd playthrough )

In OC you can't multiclass your companions, with exception of Khelgar Ironfist, after he finishes his Monk quest...

I've never heard of that, but I don't know why Blizzard is tying it to LAN, since they could just, y'know, fix b.net instead. to much hassle

connecting to battle.net with hammachi running in background is impossible... (if it is not blacklisted, it might be possible to solve with port forwarding) you can't connect to battle.net without real cd-key... but you can connect to battle.net with pirated w3, if you did download the real cd-key aswell, key generator is useless, because it guess the real cd-key maybe in 1 out of 1000 attempts... but two same cd-keys can't connect to battle.net at same time...

Uh, because they are special encounters meant to be discovered only by characters with exceptional luck? And MZ is special encounter meant to be encountered only by people who purchase the newest DLC... i don't see a difference...

useless for you, but i still enjoy LAN every time we play it, and we are all of us at different skill levels... we just random the teams ... 1v1 is not for LAN for sure, but 3v3 - 5v5 games or FFA is the best stuff ever... War3 is the game for us atm, and looks like it will be the game for us for even longer
