Yes Versus is an exclusive, but I'm not sure about american. i think SE's plans are to publish all their japanese games in western markets aswell, so i think we will see versus xiii at some point, and all the rumours say that it will be only PS3 exclusive...

Yes it did, but in 2006, there were more than 10 millions of PS2 owners alone in Japan... Now we have over 4 millions of owners of PS3 in Japan... 1million out of 4 millions is bigger success than 2 millions out of 10 millions...

how many people own Xbox 360 in USA, and how many own PS3 in Japan... If you have 20 millions users it is logical, that you get more sales, isn't it? in Japan every 4th owner of PS3 purchased FFXIII, can you show me at least one game in the USA, that have so big share???

I can see a pattern emerging. I think I can use complex analysis and write up a Python script to try and devise a set of equations for predicting the behaviour of this pattern. that would be an awesome study tbh...
