Yes... The multiplayer was awesome, the only problem was, it was realy ahead of its's time... 10+ vs 10+ matches (the only way how you could have fun with this game) at that time was rare even in counterstrike... Single player just sucked walrus balls...

What I don't understand is the server name you gave me, its not on any of my lists? Is it a US server, cos the only ones I can access are EU servers? @Deathdealer: I know. Seriously, dude. Don't talk **** about those games. Only a month or so since I last played Blood. It's an excellent game, with a lot more character than games in general have today. +1 Blood, Unreal Tournament Classic and Quake 3 Arena are 3 best FFA Multiplayer games ever created, everything new just lacks the simplicity of their map design... when you are running for your life, antialiasing on the grass leafs under the dynamic shadow of the tree is the last thing you care about...

If it would be squad-based coop only thingie, then it might be worth to at least look at it... if just another random singleplayer, i'll rather install me back HL-Blue Shift...

sorry but more shiny graphics do not count for better quality level design, i've yet to see a single shooter who would beat the simplicity and awesomnes of Unreal Tournament Classic, Quake 2, Quake 3 Arena and Half-Life 1 level design...

2002 to 2010 is still long time for no quality western FPS game to be released :D If it was realy better than NOLF1, than it's definately worth playing...

Bioshock absolutely overrated, HL2 boring and to short compared to HL1, FEAR i must admit i never played, NOLF one very good exception which happened - the biggest problem of NOLF was, that no one has even thought about making 2nd instalment, because its to weak franchise to milk into oblivion... And you know, meybe when not everybody, their mothers, their dogs and hamsters would be publishing cheap junk FPSs, we could see some high-quality TBS from western developers... at least we still have japanese and easter european companies who see big hole in the market full of cash waiting on them to pick it up...

last time i've seen something which could be named High Quality shooter, was when Quake 3 Arena was released... So yes even iranian indie games offer more quality than most of the FPSs junk i've seen last 7+ years... and compared to them Eastern european production is godly...

Yes it is at least few companies are trying to do something which is resembling the original IP... And i am seriously sick that 9 out of 10 games produced in the West are stupid FPSs... I seriously wish sometimes that 1977 and 1983 would come back and unleash the wrath on all that junk we see produced again...

Yes the publisher should make sure, that everything what he wants and desire to be in the game, is indeed in the game before shipping it...

The keyword is IF... Even IF they were doing the covering, even then the partial blame is on ACT, because the person who should have controlled them, had absolutely no clue about what he should have controlled... If you put in charge person, who is satisfied with cheap excuses, then it's your own damn fault, that you put some clown with economical degree in a position where it is required minimum of 5 years of heavy programming and application design experience...

Seriously, if you are publisher or producer of any software product, and you do not check the contracted work at regular basis, it's your own damn fault, if it is something different than you have expected when did you signed the contract... when i was working as programmer, my product was checked 2-5 times a week at early/middle phase and twice a day just before the deadline...

I don't think activision (when they publish) is able to go in and actually change the code... But they can tell: IF YOU DON'T ****ING GET OUR ****ING LOGO IN THE GAME, IT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED!!! but they clearly were more interested in milking the franchise as much as possible before Xmas...
