  1. After long break, I am again playing SoZ , currently in the Port Llast
  2. I kinda would prefer real-time combat, like good old Infinity Engine games... I wish someone could license the infinityengine from bioware and make some Full HD handdrawn game with this engine
  3. That's pretty much it. How unrealistic would it be for a publisher to fund a low budget, semi-old skool (i.e. technical equivalent to what BG3, van buren would have been) RPG nowadays? Man, that would be pretty ace. we can only dream about it... i would love to see some awesome hand-drawn game as well instead of 3d-rendered one... but that would not happen anytime soon, maybe on DS or PSP only...
  4. yes i am waiting on it as well, but i wish i can get the 1st game as well at some point...
  5. I have not found it on ebay, when i was searching for it... for over a month checking almost every day, then i have just given up (but that was about 2-3 months ago)... i will check again after i finnish my CCNA exams, now i realy do not have time for anything else than studying and Online Activation is for me unacceptable DRM, be it gamer's gate or steam, that's why i am still not playing AP aswell
  6. I checked about 20 shops, which ships to Slovakia for Drakensang, with no luck... Amazon does not ship games here, for whatever retarded reason... Witcher EE is already in my possesion
  7. most bussiness involved with copyrighted works are like 20 - 30 years behind...
  8. I know about lot of PC games i missed few years ago and they were sold out pretty fast. For example, I missed Witcher EE, and was able to find UK version of the game jast two month ago on ebay for non-rip-off price... Same goes with the 1st Drakensang... English version of the game is nowhere to be found
  9. After they rolled one time activation, i stopped preordering PC games altogether... Buying only after i read user reviews... I've gone from buying 10+ PC games/year down to 1-2... This year I only purchased Witcher EE...
  10. Driver was awesome fun, when it was released, but Ubi can stick it up in their ass with their uber-retarded DRM...
  11. Hehe the exactly same thing happened to me with FFVII, i hated it, because i played it for the first time right after I finnished FFVII and i absolutely hated the draw system, now when i played it after more than 10 years again for the second time I played it through with mw wondering why all the hate happened and something very similar happened again with FFXII, 1st playthrough boring and i absolutely hated it, 2nd playthrough 3 years later i loved it strange... PS... dunno why, but my favourite FFIX music was this
  12. Simply being a potential customer, does not make you the target market. Do you think that people pulling in minimum wage are the target market for Rolex watches or BMWs? Ferrari doesn't look at Thorton_AP and go "how can we bring this car to him, because he's +1 customer." They say "We want to make expensive, exotic cars that only rich people can afford. They are our target market. People that cannot afford our automobiles are not. Companies are rarely "fair." I don't know where people get this impression. Some companies don't offer their services to various regions. That's not "fair." Some companies require you to have a credit card (as that's the only method of payment). That's not "fair." Some companies require you to have a guarantor in order to do business. That's not "fair" either. Reality and life are not fair. So I feel no sympathy to those (not saying you) that claim "not fair" because they aren't able to play a video game due to a DRM policy that does not work for them. Are you seriously comparing Ferrari to a PC game???
  13. Is Versus XIII an exclusive though? On another note Steam has the Sega complete pack on sale for $89.99, but don't be fooled into thinking AP is part of the pack, because it's not, even though SIE is pictured. Still it's a good deal. versus XIII is still exclusive... http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/05/1...xiii_statement/
  14. I have quite opposite oppinion on this matter... Care to elaborate, as I did? I just have different gameing tastes as you do... White Knight Chronicles, God of War 3, Demon's Souls, Final Fantasy versus XIII and Gran Turismo 5 is everything I need, to justify my oppinion on the matter I bet i would find more PS3 exclusives, but my library of games is still pretty small atm... There is only 1 Xbox exclusive i think is worth buying the console... Forza 3... nothing else...
  15. I have quite opposite oppinion on this matter...
  16. as i said, i dont play much FPSs aswell, and believe me, if the game is little bit harder, you have less time to notice lack of gameplay and "story" progression - especialy in FPS games in last 5 years i played only 4 FPS games... all of them on hardest difficulty, and 1 of them still felt so easy that it was boring :S
  17. nope, the new wolfenstein was easy as pie... still waiting to see proper hard shooter that i had to play on other than the hardest difficulty on my 1st playthrough... and i am playing like 1 FPS every 2 years...
  18. Man i do not know, how could i missed it, but Demon's Soul will be released in EU on June 25!!! http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/rpg/demonssoul...res%3Btitle%3B1
  19. If i have to sign up for accounts and be connected to the internet all the time, i just find myself some new hobby My gaming time is already down to average 6 hours per week, and i have so many games on my shelf that most of them i do not remember their storyline so i am set for next 20 years and i bet some indie developers would see the hole in the market and would offer the different service to the people who still demand it
  20. lolz besides, i do not know like you, but i would not be happy if all games would became digital only, because DLing 50 GB PS3 games with my aDSL would cost me more than jumping to the car riding 100km and buying them in town's TESCO/METRO/WTFBBQSHOP... And i bet i would get it faster by mail from teh internet aswell
  21. And then someone, probably some console maker, will see the opportunity of wholy abandoned market and make ****loads of money, because there will always be people who like to hold something in the hand, people who rather shop in big malls than browse on internet, and which will never be satisfied with digital copies only
  22. and then they will be wondering, why did the piracy of their products skyrocketed so high...
  23. Wasn't so funny when Iron Lore did it with Titan Quest... Iron Lore did a big mistake of not making this a public information... i never played Titan Quest, but 1st time i've heard that the game was intentionaly bugged for pirates, was about 2 years after they got bankrupt...
