  1. Bioware already fired their leadership years and years ago (the day, when both docs "retired"). That was the point where it all started to go downhill for them IMO.
  2. First game I've ever played was some unnamed ASCII game plane bombarding and shooting stuff, on a big "scientific" computer in a Mining Company office, during school visit to the site, which was probably programmed by the guy, who was operating the computer somewhere around 1985 or 1986
  3. I got free Oxenfree as free GOG freebie a while ago.
  4. Playing more Earthlock. But just got my ass handed down in first dungeon after the Burning Desert by two different bossses. Need to take a break for today, and try again tomorrow
  5. https://steamcommunity.com/games/261550/announcements/detail/1723097746688457151 Found it funny this was news - they plan to have a closed beta. Well, I'd hope so. What does beta even mean any more? Given the shove it out the door and patch it later state of the games industry these days, games are being released fully in states that would be called "alpha" in the past. Alpha, beta, I think these terms are overused. I played, according to some freaks, "beta" of Pathfinder months after launch, yet I had enjoyable experience. Thing is - you can't expect game product without bugs, what matters is playable 'state'. To me even Bard's Tale IV was in playable state at launch if you would just reload the earlier save & actually taken care to save the game. I think he was more refering to the so called Live Services, where you are buying empty shell and a promise in a roadmap, which may or may not ever come to fruition. Anthem and Fallout 76 is a prime example of Early AAAccess.
  6. I need to replay that. Haven't tried the remastered version. Never played the Festival of Magic, so I ended up directly with remaster.
  7. I started to play Earthlock. Nice Norwegian indie jRPG-like game. Little bit slower paced, but I am enjoying it
  8. I hope they do, and also hope they announce Epic exlusivity soon! And yes Schadenfreude level 9000 engaged and popcorn ready to bite Yeah, you'd be a great match for Malcador once prom night is there. Wear something tight and lose them panties... Still could be worse. Imagine Valve announcing 2020 release of Half-life 3!
  9. Now go, and throw your wallets in the direction of Poland! https://www.gog.com/news/release_warcraft_orcs_and_humans_warcraft_2_battlenet_edition
  10. I hope they do, and also hope they announce Epic exlusivity soon! And yes Schadenfreude level 9000 engaged and popcorn ready to bite
  11. Not sure exactly as all I have is Win 10 but I'd guess it's not built into the OS. Not sure if they can't just use the web store https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/games/windows Afaik, it is Win10 exclusive, because apps are using .uwp extension and not .exe Someone Correct me please if I am wrong.
  12. Afaik EGS is not DRM free by default, so I can’t imagine how that would work.
  13. For me it will stay the same as before, no GOG, no buy. I have big enough backlog to spent few years without worries.
  14. Tatooine is wrong, he's named after a dog after all.So, Jar-Jar Jones? R2 Jones? Rancor Jones? I kinda like this one. Practice Droid Jones? Oh my god in the third game Jones teams up with Darth Connery Vader to go on an adventure-comedy romp against the Empire. I'm digging this! Jar-Jar Jones... reading that name gave me serious shivers Anyway back to Random News. New Yakuza game in the making. https://www.siliconera.com/2019/03/20/a-new-yakuza-game-featuring-ichiban-kasuga-is-in-development-for-playstation-4/ Also if you have more than 20, you can enter contest for becoming the main model for the game
  15. Looks like Disney is reviving Lucasfilm Games. https://www.pcgamesn.com/lucasfilm-games-revival
  16. From what I’ve seen or read about that thing, is that rating the game 3/10 because it has DeNuvo or other kind of intrusive DRM, is currently also considered as off-topic, and a reason for removing the review.
  17. But you can't know for sure if you have fun, before you beat the game at least 7 times!
  18. Beat this!!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly_Pitcher#/media/File%3AMolly_Pitcher_currier_ives.jpg
  19. yeah difference is that contamined polish beef can kill you, buying gimmick which you can return for free is .. i dont know, i don't see any negative with it. Not that i play that type of game but curation usually means no porn, no hatered, no postal and go on and on and on... GOG is curated and has Postal and some Japanese Porn Visual Novels. You need to DL the uncensor patches off-site, but that does not change the fact, they all came through their curation process.
  20. Curation is not censorship. It is the same, like saying, that not selling contaminated polish beef in local mall is unconstitutional.
  21. You sharpen your Razor 1911 times, with no Deviance. Once you see things in a Fairlight, everything can be Reloaded. I just realized that, aside from DEViANCE which stopped being active back in the mid 2000s, I have no idea if those groups are still around. I do not know either. I just remember all these names, because they were around the eastern europe when I was a kid. Something abot 20-25 years ago, with maybe the exception of Fairlight, which sound little bit newer
  22. Some people would say, That’s why you fight razor sharp stuff with Razor, and at least 1911 times
  23. Historically no one wore undies in Antics.
  24. What the hell brought on that "measured" response? I was just trying to help someone who suffered issues that seemed similar to the ones I had with that game way back when. I know there were DRM issues with the disc version of TW1 because I suffered them. Loading screens would take forever because the game would check the disc on each loading screen (which would require the disc to spin up, usually since all the actual game data was on the hard drive), if it couldn't access the disc fast enough it would time out and crash the game (CTD). Whether or not one would experience those issues of course depended heavily on the disc drive used, but given the mention of slow loading times I figured this might have been the issue. The digital versions obviously didn't suffer the issue due to there being no disc check DRM, for extremely obvious reasons. But that's just your anecdotal evidence, it is required to post every time the same articles, over and over and over and over to stay relevant, else you'll be called out on bull****ting... /sarcasm off The most probable outcome of all his zealous comments about every single mention of DRM is investment in Denuvo development or stock. With the exception of mkreku, even the biggest DRM proponents, I've seen, have no issues to acknowledge some DRM flaws or hickups. I've never seen him saying something like that, he immediately jumps to attacks and evidence requesting, despite loads and loads of legit benchmarks were linked here in past few months...
