Resistances/DR of same type do not stack. But if you have 10/- physical DR, and pick up Some Item of Fire Resistance +5 and yoi equip it, and a monster hits you with Big Weapon of Fire for 1d10 physical + 1d6 fire damage, you will "absorb" 15 damage from this weapon in total.

Judging by pretty much anything by Egosoft, it'll definitely disappoint on release. Give them like a year of post-release support and it may become great. ... Or it'll be another Rebirth. Then again, Rebirth's biggest crime was that 70% of your time playing was occupied by doing mindless chores, whereas X3 just ended up being a lot more compact and smooth in comparison. I hope it does not dissapoint. I am itching for a good new SpaceSim like forever, and even if Star Citizen ever releases, I am not willing to sell one of my kidneys to affors the PC which will be able to run it without hickups. And after reading aboit X:Rebirth I had to skip it

Well the first favoured enemy for me would be in most of the Pathfinder scenarios Humanoid (Human). Because Humans and their breeds make up to 80-85% of all creatures walking around Golarion.

This might be probably bug, but try to put down all your armour before sleep. In PnP sleeping in armour unless you have Endurance feat makes you fatigued/exhausted. I do not know how the game handles this though. Still had no chance to buy it.

I do not know if it is possible in the game, but when playing PnP with my group during Serpent's Skull Adventure Path, after getting exhausted few times, they started to hunt for 8-16 hours before venturing into very big dungeons or caves, and had always enough rations to spent there more than a few days.

Pathfinder is not 3.5. It’s upgrade from 3.5 under Open Gaming License, so people are calling it sometimes 3.75. Basic difference is, you get feats every odd level in Pathfinder, compared to every 3 levels in 3.5.

What about evil character playthrough? Does it make sense (especially in dialogue options) or is it like in most Bioware games, where the only option was being evil is being crazy murderous psychopath? Or the game offers also more subtle evil ways and scheming?

In our country we have a saying: Less means more, most of the time. All you accomplish with carpet bombing the thread is, that if people are searching for some specific news from the past, they have to scroll like mad for few minutes. No one else besides you, spams the thread with so many posts at once. This is my only gripe with PoE as a whole. I play PnP Pathfinder, and I really love to experiments with strange builds, which looks gimped at first look, but can bring very interesting roleplay results in the end. My most loved character so far was Gnome Urban Barbarian specced into demoralizing of your enemies with crazy high Bluff. On level 4 I had almost +30 bonus to this skill due to one item, which I accidentally found in pawn shop in Absalom

In 99% of the cases you are right. But because of how some genres are very niche in Slovakia, and If you do not buy that kind of game on release date, it can take up to three weeks to get new copy in the shops here. Sometimes they are not able to get PEGI versions anymore after the first week. So for these reasons, I prefer to preorder these games. Digital games, I never preorder. I’ll buy them only for PC and only DRM free, when I feel, that I’d like to play them soon.

Sorry for spamming again with lootboxes, but Australia just published study, which has so far the harshest words on connection of lootboxes to gambling addiction, and also debunked the ever so popular comparison to baseball cards or kinder surprise eggs. Interesting times indeed.

I do not preorder just because of this one reason. Only few Japanese games, where the track record of the publisher is still positive in this regard. For any western game, I just wait for GOTY edition or year or two for fully patched game. The only exception for nostalgic reasons is Obsidian, where I am willing to support some of their products on day 1, due to being for niche audience, which I am part of. But still wait some time to see the game patched enough before playing them.
