And, I have purchased also EARTHLOCK. The game got big overhaul in March, and from what I have seen on some videos, I know, that I will love it. With the purchase, I have also unlocked Everspace. For now, no more purchases in this sale.

NBA2K19 had one time purchase of a haircut as well. Destiny had one time purchase of color for your equipment. So no, they are not the first, they just moved it further to the **** area...

14 days for a fishing pole is ****. I have finished Star Ocean Last Ocean platinum trophy in 750 hours, which is 31,25 days worth of playtime, and it had monstrosities trophies like 66993 killing blows and many many more... And in that time, I have finished everything, what that game had to offer, including the most rare weapons and most difficult superbosses. And that game is touted as one of the most grindiest JRPGs ever made when you want to get 100% done...

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I think, the stock bubble is slowly starting to burst after the price hijack which started with the introduction of Overwatch lootboxes, and sharholders are cashing out their 1 year, 1 and half year investments, and all the AAA companies are starting to panick because almost every single of them has lost 25 - 50% of value over the course of last 6 months, and they probably think, that fleecing the whales even more drastically, will bring them back their lost value.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
It appears to me as if it's mostly companies that deal with end users that don't give a toss about this (re: hypernormalization?). When dealing with other companies (or governments, I imagine), leaks like these mean lost business most of which probably won't be coming back soon, unless the competition that it went to gets hit by the same type of deal. It's unbelievable, but most of the companies do not give a crap about security for one single reason, damage control after the leak is much cheaper than prevention and tight security...

Just get a Switch. Or connect your PC to your TV with an HDMI cable and get a bunch of wireless controllers. I don't drink beer so that may be the killing factor, but it usually takes us a grand total of 15 minutes to find, download and start playing a couch co-op/competitive game with no preparation. Unfortunatelly, I am not a target demographics for Nintendo. I Got Wii and three games, and played it like for two months, and I have so far the same impression of the Switch. Also, even if I found something must have, not being able to backup saves for a lot of games, is heavy dealbreaker for me. On the other hand, due to layout of my home and my girlfriend, even though I have connected the PC to my TV, It’s hard for more than two people to sit next to each other to play stuff, with my consoles, it is much different.

What are you playing right now?
About hour ago, I have finished after 53,5 hours, Battle Chasers: Nightwar. All in all, I was having fun most of the time. The turn based combat was fun, and the story was interesting. Around level 16 it started to get little bit grindy, but later, it became faster-pacing again. The final battle made me sweat, because I was not able to kill final boss at level 29. I had to go grind for another 15 minutes or so in the final dungeon. I was lucky and found there nice Attack Bonus Shrine, which helped me a lot in defeating the boss on the next try. I love the art style and really enjoyed playing it, so I hope the developers will make next game soon, and we'll be able to see the continuation of the story of our heroes .

Baldur's Gate 3?
Nah. That seems more like to better design the sharp XP curve, which forces you to buy XP boosters pack, so it is will be less visible by random player Joe How to hide it better, than with "proper" RPG elements

And maybe it will suck less than DA:I and ME:A :D Who am I kidding, it will be another attempt at Engagement Driven Live Service crap, everyone except few whales forgets in two months... Inquisition was a good game it just had a bad main story and sub-par multiplayer.Don't know how other people see this, but for me, that pretty much sums up a description of a bad game and a bad "Live Service"
