  1. So it could be around 50-80 hours on title, depending how you plan to move forward
  2. Well, if you are not completionist, previous Arland titles are possible to finish in around 20 -25 hours or so. With walkthrough even faster. But yes the DX versions are pretty expensive at the moment. But as soon as they go on sale, they will be worth it ;)
  3. I have played Rorona, Totori, Meruru and Aescha. I own every released afterwards, but had no time to playe them yet. It is kind of challenging and the quality of every title is different, but I have mostly liked what I have played. Not everyone like the jRPG mechanics behind it. Anyway, Lulua is 4th game in the Arland series, so if you are able to spent more money, few months ago was released remaster of first three games in the series (Rorona DX, Totori DX and Meruru DX (in that order)) which I can really recommend to you as well. You will get to know more about the lore and background of characters.
  4. Running around would be mostly OK, if there was less combat involved
  5. I do not know. I played it maybe 15 years ago for few hours, but got stuck somewhere, and the I boight it 3 years ago on GOG, played for almost 40 hours, but got fatigued by the combat in the chosen palace. And now, after few hours, I feel fatigued again in the graveyard catacombs :/ Story is likeable, but some trash enemies are really annoying with their spongy HP pool. The only way how to make it more enjoyable, is to spent loads of money on "mana cores" and cast haste on all partymembers right away in every combat
  6. Deponia 4 in the GOG Indie sale
  7. I have dusted off my Septerra Core playthrough after more than 3 year break. And I have immediately remembered, why I quit The Chosen Sewers... But after a while, I got used to it and recovered Doomsday Blueprints, and went little bit of exploring to refresh my memories, where I left. To my surprise, I still remember quite a bit of stuff, so today, before visiting my family, I'll spent some time with this game again
  8. His reviews are still better love story than Twilight.
  9. Rumors? https://www.wired.com/story/exclusive-sony-next-gen-console/ It's from the mouth of the PS5's lead architect, Mark Cerny. There was few runours posted on these forums few months ago, which I can't locate anymore. I just wanted to compare them to current reveal by Sony, how much they were off.
  10. To bad it is not on the GOG Anyway, purchased Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists. But I start to hate KOEIs season pass strategy, which they introduced last year to the series...
  11. Some details on PS5. Including PS4 backward compatibility Also in my eyes the unlikely SSD rumour, is in the end most likely true. https://www.siliconera.com/2019/04/16/playstation-5s-first-details-from-sony-with-ps4-backwards-compatibility-ray-tracing-and-ssd/ PS: has anyone the link/copy paste of the last PS5 rumour? Just to compare it again?
  12. I have just finished Earthlock. A Norwegian made jRPG. The game is nice in the combat area, but the writing is the weak point of the game. Still, not bad, and I have enjoyed the game more than enough to recommend it despite that. I was also able to get 100% achievements on GOG Galaxy for this game (in 40 hours).
  13. Sigh. Japanese sale on GOG again. My backlog is hurting me, but the Trails in the Sky are like 6 time a year luring me to buy them. And now again... Must resist...
  14. Issue with all the service stuff is, that people do not have infinite money, so as with Ultima, Everquest and lastly WoW, there will be one service to dominate them all, and all other will be canibalizong each other with their fight for the scraps. Same happened with PUB G and then Fortnite. All other are just a small fraction of all the money required to be it the most profitable thing ever, so likes of Acti and Ubi will sooner or later cancel their stuff. Same with looter shooters. Only thing which was able to shake the things at least for a little bit, was Apex.
  15. Same what happened after the MMO thingie failed. Everybody wanted to be a WoW killer, but now, most of the publishers avoid MMOs like a plague.
  16. You can't exploit **** out of your players in single player game as good as in "Live Service" even if poor implemented. It's not about faith. It's the public traded companies goal of earning all of the money in the world by whatever means, instead of having lower but steady cashflow from maximally satisfied and happy customers.
  17. Dunno, but it looked like something what should be called N-Sync
  18. Defeated Nahraan and done some sidequesting (backer ghosts, airship, cure finding, critter plants) I forgot to save and the scepter boss kicked my ass with few aoe hits So I had to redo the Nahraan fight. I am still missing one plant to mutate to final form, but I do not know which one it is So I am running like a madman around garden picking all the flowers
  19. I only just got out of the warehouse. You'd so expect a boss fight there... And Franir is down, but Twisted Guardian kicked my butt Meanwhile I have done coliseum in starting town for Gold
  20. Getting talents right and learning your stances is the basis of the game. I died to Mushriga last night. The story boss was no trouble. Also died to Frafnir. But that doesn't count as I am nowhere near beating him. At least I beat the burnacle. Won against Tremelbone yesterday, but got destroyed by Frafnir today twice. So I have to move to other dungeons and look for other possible places where the required plants should be, before engaging him again.
  21. Well these "girls" are actually few thousands of years old according to Neptunia Lore
  22. Oh yes, both Mushriga and the Story Boss were defeated next evening. All it took, was to change little bit my talents, and a mutated flower, which allowed me to create few Fire + ammunition for the MC. After that, I had finally enough DPS, to defeat the bosses before they kicked my ass again Now I am at the Festival of Magic coloseum fights in my home city, where for me, the game lost some pacing. To many fights to get the Gold Badge, compared to previous Main Quest parts of the game. Still the game is pretty decent, if you take your time to manage your talents.
  23. Well, Neptunia series is one of the few comedy games, without cheap toilet humour Besides, to be honest all east asian ladies in age of 30+, which I know, all look younger than most of the 20 years old western ladies, so you should never judge them by looks
  24. Or just don’t spend any money on anticonsumer practices there is loads of games realeased every day.
