Krezack is just mad that Linux isn't going anywhere. Has anyone mentioned that Vista is better than XP at giving up the ram that it is using when needed elsewhere? Or the improved security? I also still don't get the UAC bitching. I waste more time in lines at the supermarket and those lines aren't very long. Vista still uses slightly more ram than XP, but really? is that what you guys are gonna bitch about? There are much worse developements with Microsoft that will affect consumers much worse than rising ram usage. Why can't people just upgrade when they upgrade the rest of their computer and then leave it at that? Why do people feel the need to be angry at Vista? @the actual topic. Windows 7 will probably be seen as the good Vista which will be hilarious since the difference are quite small.

Minor roleplaying? Isn't that a bit like minorly riding a bike? Will I only get minorly banned if I only spam in a minor way?.. Yeah, I'll stop now.

I'm actually not even sure where I was going with that line. @Piddy Wasn't that more in the vein of choice rather than actual roleplaying? The reasons why Deus Ex should be billed as a RPG goes deeper than mere choice in the execution of missions.

NOLF was an action game though and the point wasn't to be able to roleplay the character. Choosing the appearance of the PC doesn't add anything either but is generally accepted as almost mandatory in the western RPG tradition.

I entered this thread expeecting internet-sober discussion on israeli military actions and I find pictures of Hot, Female, Israeli soldiers? 10/10. Also I'd think that there must be some explanation for the large amount of such pictures on the internet besides Israel being the official land of the babes.

I seem to remember that was the RA3 iteration. About the alt+tab discussion, I personally find it important that the developers at least try to get it working. Biggest technical problem of Fallout 3 at least.

Isn't the most likely reason that so many Mac users bought Lugaru, that enthusiast gamers are more likely than the average gamer to own a Mac? I know that internet forums will usually inflate the perception of how many people are Mac users, so most likely a smaller game like Lugaru would too. Generally, I don't think those numbers are directly usefull for Obsidian. Was Mass Effect ported to the mac?

Titan Quest was essentially Diablo 2 without a somewhat atypical setting to draw you in. I never figured out why Ironlore thought that ancient greek would make an interesting setting for a hack'n'slash game.

Red is a nice colour. I was always surprised when people would talk about KOTOR being unstable at release since I never had any problems. Similarly I never had problems with NWN besides XP blue screening every hour or so.

A more accurate way of saying things is that Bioware has a very specific philosophy in what they do and don't do and that won't change anytime soon. Expecting "innovation" from Bioware is like expecting "normality" from Valve, or something.

What kind of error message does ME give you? Your problem sounds similar to the one that people who have daemon tools or other virtual drive software installed can suffer from.

@Strix Where have you been the last six years (longer than that really)? It's easier to make acceptably looking graphics that run on low-end machines if you make them cartoonish in the vein of WoW. The graphics are made to market to a wide range of people.
