  1. You can look at all the prisoners, but little easter eggs and hints aside, there's not much in each containment cell. The only prisoner of note is Berkana, whom you can interact with. You have to go down to the third level and fight a boss, then read whichever scroll you choose into a big inter-connective megaphone thing. If you plan on following Llengrath's suggestion, remember to help Berkana first, otherwise she dies as well. I chose Llengrath since I could get all the loot. You also unlock a special quest that only shows up if either of the two Archmages like you enough. If you do Tayn's bidding, you will disperse the prisoners' memories randomly and also have to screw over Llengrath later.
  2. Wood Elf. It was my first time playing any kind of RPG-ish game. Me, being my naïve self thought: ooh, elves. I can finally live out my dreams of being Legolas!
  3. Pallegina had 12. Still no option after Kaali says he's brought some sacrifices. It seems to be a watcher only check. https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Pillars_of_Eternity_II:_Deadfire_skills Check the table under usage. You need to have a couple of companions with some points in diplomacy.
  4. I actually found the relationships between companions much more realistic than the companion-watcher relationships. Their little conversations while walking around honestly added more depth to the individuals than the long drawn out romances between the player and the companions. Maia and Xoti's relationships was adorable and seemed more genuine? They also seem to be lengthier than their romances with the Watcher?
  5. How on earth did you come up with names this good? Cleoshyra's Anticipatory Deflector of Unerring Accuracy should definitely be in the game.
  6. I'm not super up-to-date on the Obsidian gossip. Why did Chris Avellone leave the company again? Was it management issues?
  7. Works pretty well with arcane knights and melee wizards. Monks are also a good choice. The entire Port Maje area can be a bit of a slog when soloing, though.
  8. Not necessarily. I'm pretty sure you can get the Floating Hangman and leave the Principi quest uncompleted. Take the boat and don't report back to Aldeys or Furrante.
  9. You need to have 8 diplomacy. Just bring along a companion with high diplomacy. It should work just fine.
  10. You can skip most of the enemies at the dig site by sneaking past and talking to Eothas. Once you do, all the boars, drakes, panthers and such will be gone. As for Gorecci Street, make sure you have the thug quest, then enter it from the west (when you adventure on the world map, click Gorecci Street) and talk to the elf.
  11. That's weird, when my moon godlike watcher pulled back the hood and identified Wael, all the people disappeared but nobody died?
  12. It would have been interesting to have the whole Eothas ordeal play out right from the get go, and the rest of the game presented to the player as an open-world experience in which they deal with the aftermath of the destruction of the wheel and so on. The player could also assist the factions in dealing with Eothas's destruction.
  13. You can gain reputation by helping the Dawnstar treat the sick in the Gullet and help the starvation by convincing either the prince, the Dawnstars or the Principi to help.
  14. It would be interesting to see Xoti change her mindset about the gods and Eothas. Maybe not through Pallegina, but the Watcher or Eder. It would certainly make her character arc more interesting.
