Priests below PL4 blow. Once they hit PL4 they get some nifty spells and it's all uphill from there. I'm currently playing a Wael/Lifegiver and it's tons of fun. Is it balls to the wall PotD solo with blindfolds good? I dunno, but it's serving it's purpose and I'm having fun from both a RP and gameplay perspective.

Would you agree that Deadfire has some serious reactivity problems tho?

I find that an Ancient druid henchman makes that section much easier. Charm Beast trivializes that fight and you get Aloth immediately after. This. Charm/Hold Beasts and Summon Sporelings.

After watching that cutscene I agree it's a very confusing delivery.

I love Druids. First playthrough of BG2 was a Shapeshifter. Unfortunately I struggle with shifting in Deadfire bc it takes away from spellcasting. But a better player than me can prob utilize them more efficiently! That -5PL on a Lifegiver hurts!

I actually find Rogue not the best. My top four would be chanter, paladin and monk and wizard. Why Paladin good sir?

20 imho. BUT the fight is tremendously easier if you rest with something like Wael's Wind.

The entire Deadfire journey is fun but strange. The vanilla game is marred with inconsistencies and revolving door of bugs. You really have to wonder if Obs played through the vanilla game.

Is it worth using in Forgotten Sanctum? Those Vithracks are a pain in the ***!
