  1. Well, the Bog Druids are quite surly. It's either "kill this high ranking official" or else. Luckily they aren't sharp enough to avoid the surprise attack...from a fellow Universalist, no less. But I digress...what's so good about Pollen Patch, Boerer? I rem seeing you mention it a few times. Anyone else play a Lifegiver? I don't find myself shifting at bc 1) Spine of Thicket Green 2) nasty -5PL after shifting.
  2. You get all those messages that pop out of your chars' heads like Distracted once a PER inspiration hits you - also the other way round: Hardy once you get Sickened and so on. Hmm I've been playing on Expert mode maybe it's why I didnt notice em or I'm just not that observant at times
  3. Damn, had no idea! That certainly adds an extra layer to the discussion.
  4. My Predator Helios runs everything fine with ultra settings so the optimization has been fine for me at least.
  5. Wow didn't know that thanks.
  6. This game has some weak romances. I'm straight but I may go for Tekehu haha. He's interesting but arrogant, with one of the stronger plot ties. Maia was fine until you find out her dirty secret. I don't even recruit her anymore. Xoiti is a good pick but barely anything happens in the "romance". I miss my Jaheria
  7. Hmm so that's true for all inspirations?
  8. Yeah but Blind does more than than reduce Per, so I'm not seeing how Blessing is a counter to the +50% Recovery.
  9. Dire Blessing *is* that spell. The low-level AL1 buffs (Holy Power and Blessing) are still relevant later on because enemies also get better about using might and perception afflictions. Am I like the only one who tries to counter or protect their party members from these effects? +50% recovery time in particular is extremely brutal for anyone and given how common blind and disorient is I will use Blessing (even after getting Dire Blessing) to cancel them out. I'm not following...doesn't Blessing just give you +5 Per? Are you saying it also removes or reduce Per afflictions? Even so, why not more strategic casts of Dire Blessing than taking up two slots for essentially the same spell, major and minor versions? For that reason I would not call Blessing "great".
  10. Yeah, Blessing is +5 Per and Dire Blessing is +5 Per and +50% Graze to Hit, so I meant Blessing is pointless.
  11. I may take a screenshot of that Boeroer haha. You should put that into a guide!
  12. Chiefly, I want the combat to remain the same but some minor tweaks, and more of the focus on branching dialogue and quest resolution. More options. I wanna give Beza's notes to the ranga but he doesn't seem interested in why I destroyed the adra. Also the disposition system is good in theory but could be much better in execution. I'm sure it's very difficult to code in all those reactions, so maybe keep it quality over quantity and add more reactivity. When I helped resolve the Family Fued peacefully I could not believe Pelle didn't say a damn thing, not even thank you!
  13. It looks like a mini hadouken. It's serviceable but I wouldn't call it great. Dire blessing is pointless bc you get the much better blessing a few PLs later that adds 50% misses to grazes or whatever. Now Druids on the other hand, they have some great low level spells, esp Tekehu.
  14. Also, Tekehu is just insane as a single class Druid due to his Foe only spells.
  15. A Trickster can absolutely tank and Streetfighter is a good multi for tanks to add DPS. Saying you don't care how hard a Rogue can hit is like saying, I don't care how well a Priest can buff, or Ranger increase ACC, or a Wizard nuke, or a Chanter summon, etc...it's one of the main strengths of that class. I don't pick Priests for DPS and then complain about lack of DPS. But even considering that, a Trickster can still tank.
  16. So I'd say one of the best non-tank armor is sold at Marihi's Metalworks, depending on your PoE1 choices. It's amazing for really any type of character, except a frontliner who should prob have one of the top notch heavy armors. Really any item that gives you immunity, several upgrade choices, and PL bonuses are typically gonna be top tier. I mean there is a heavy armor that negates disengagement attacks! So good on a Paladin or Monk.
  17. Do scrolls scale with PL? Bc for the reasonable amount of 15 Arcana you can nuke the **** out of everything, among other powerful spells. For that reason, I'm wondering if Wizard multi is the way to go, but I'm not sure about the PL scaling.
