I just like to have controllable NPCs. Man, NPCs in KotOR were a freaking pain in combat. Especially in the freaking Star Forge where I tried to get my party to a specific location but each time I move to the next character the stupid freaking AI takes over and they run some place else.
AAAAAARRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I nearly through the keyboard into my monitor in frustration.
Man, this game looks like it is going to be a powerlamer snooze fest with Jedi. Just sad to see the boyos who did Fallout and Plansecape Torment forced to make a piece of garbage this game is looking to be.
Why should I, Volourn? There is nothing in this game that interests me. Now if I am able to play a non-Jedi/force user then I will be getting the game but since thats not an option it will be in my ignore list. At least til I can buy it for $10 then I might get it.
Most of the time I find CRPG plots predictable. I simply apply this little test: How would I write it? I can often predict most plots and twists a good while ahead of time. Also it helps to look for clues and such. In KotOR they made it so freaking obvious though it was quite painful.
That is why forcing the player to be a Jedi is stupid. There is no challenge in playing a Jedi and if there is no challenge there is no fun. I hope Obsidian's next game will be better than this.
A jedi is a jedi is a jedi. There is no variance in gameplay regardless in the Jedi classes and it will be the same in KotOR2. You play a Jedi, you will kill everything with ease. End of Story.
We had no justification to invade Iraq and we can't afford to rebuld that country. The US can't even take care of its own citizens therefore we shouldn't try to take care of other people until we can.
I don't see how Carth is that bad. There are plenty of characters in books, movies, and games worse than Carth. There is Jar Jar Binks, Anomen, Eldath, Drizzt Do' Urden, the voice acting in Resident Evil, and etc...
Sheesh. Some people's children.
