  1. I'm old enough, but I don't drink alcohal. Personal reasons get in the way.
  2. I have no ruler.
  3. I am not a cutscene lover. I just want to play the game. If I want to see a movie I'll put one in the DVD.
  4. I don't come here often because I am not particular looking forward to this game. It has nothing that I care about in a CRPG so why should I do more than just lurk and make a couple off colored comments here and there?
  5. You know, I didn't think you were into that but whatever floats your boat.
  6. Well, you were his old master. Fear is a very powerful tool to keep your underlings in line. I mean who do you think took out his lower jaw?
  7. Bioware lost the ability to make good challenging CRPGs with ToB. It is sad that Obsidian is following their foot steps with KotOR2.
  8. He is a court appointed president who lied to get us into war. The guy should be impeached. At least Clinton's lies didn't get anyone killed.
  9. Are you serious?! Do you know how hard it was to kill Malak at level 20? If you make the level cap at 8 or 10 the game will just become frustrating. <_< Um... It wasn't all that hard at all.
  10. A wider vareity of character portraits, base clothing style, more class choices, and more vaired skills and feats.
  11. I have a few people who to bug in real life. Volourn would be top of the list with Di being a close second.
  12. Cutscenes are like exposition in literatre or a flashback in a movie. It might enrich the story but it doesn't aid in gameplay. Cutscenes overall should be kept to a minimem.
  13. I know what ideas I would come with to a game. I would love to set up a cyberpunk/space opera cross genre game together. Set up a series of star systems the character could visit, including Earth, and their. I would use a nested matrix story structure for the main plot while 30 to 40 sublplots in each system besides the typical fed ex filler quests.
  14. As many times that it is necessary.
  15. *shrug* On the plus side, the more that's predetermined about a character, the more they can flesh out the story. I'm definetely not expecting a Morrowind-like freedom, but if it's both as restrictive and as engrossing as Planescape: Torment, you won't hear me complaining. Thing is aren't games supose to be getting better over time, not being the same style over and over again? PS:T was good in its day but come on now. Its 2004 and we should be able to get engrossing and immersive storylines without sacrificing the players' ability to make their own characters.
  16. Personally I rather have more control in creating my character. KotOR 2 sounds like it will be too limiting in that department, just like its predecessor.
  17. I want to say Cool Hand Luke but it was also used in a Guns and Roses song "Civil War."
  18. I can't think of one right now. Its 12:30 AM where I am at and I am falling asleep at the keyboard. I'll have an answer sometime time tomorrow.
  19. Halo isn't a role playing game. Never played Halo so I really have no idea what you are talking about.
  20. Personally I can't wait for the new season of Doctor Who. They got the lead actor of 28 Days Later to play the Doctor. Can't remember his name.
  21. Gaining or decreasing an advantage, its still metagaming to me. You are playing your character and the game based on out of character knowledge.
  22. Probably not, but it is kind of fun taking a 40th level monk, making him look like a bum and weakling on the street then have some mid level griefers try to mess with you just to get their heads bashed in. (tee hee)
  23. Bad idea or not, its metagaming and I also do my best to avoid that as well.
