  1. Because I have played other Star Wars games. DUH!
  2. Dismemberment should happen has a set event. Losing an arm or leg should be a once time affair in a CRPG, especially if it effects the main character. It can add a good amount of drama to the situation, but personally I would stay away from it in the game. Lets have some distance between the games and the movies.
  3. Male or female I found Carth likable in an aggravating sort of way. With a Female character it had a Moonlighting (I am showing my age here) relationship while in male characters he acts like an annoying roommate I had in college. I mean he is a lot better than many other Star Wars characters I can mention and a lot better than some of the NPCs that were in past Bioware CRPGs.
  4. Yo Titan, shut your hole. One thing I don't want to see is a bunch of rabid star wars geek monkeys ruin what could be a decently made CRPG. Sheesh, peeps, you already have the damn Jedi forced down our throats. Enough with your Vader fetish fantasies.
  5. KotOR is the only one I liked. I have played Rebellion, Tie FIghter, X Wing, Jedi Knight, and a couple of others. Even a Star Wars fighting game but that was just wierd.
  6. I rather they work on allowing more character creation options to customize my character. Not going to happen though, which is really disappointing.
  7. I think that I would be banned before Volourn.
  8. I have to say the story. It might be linear with very little replay value, but it is very solid and a fun experience.
  9. How can it? You can't even play a non-Jedi.
  10. Fine, don't make them equal, but still allow the player to play a non-Jedi dammit.
  11. Sorry, but I play CRPGs.
  12. Someone here hasn't read the Rogue and Wraith Squadron series of books, nor the Han Solo trilogy.
  13. Good ideas, but how about some how make the Non-Jedi a bit more on equal footing withthe Jedi.
  14. Obsidian is where the likes of Feargus, Chris Avellone, and a random assortment of Black Islanders went to before the axe was dropped on December 8th.
  15. I agree on that. A proper sequel builds upon the first and expands the story plot as well as characters. It doesn't make the previous chapter inconsequintial.
  16. I remember Infocom quite well. I had Zork 1, 2, 3, Leather Goddess of Pheobos (msp?), Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and several others for my oild Commodore 64. I have been a computer, console (off and on), and PnP gamer since the days of Pong and Space Invaders. I know what I like and what I don't like and I like a challenge in my games as well as a good entertaining story to them. Playing a Force User, Dark side or Light, makes KotOR way too easy.
  17. I had to buy KotOR for a game review when I was a reviewer. I am not a game reviewer any more so I have no obligations to buy KotOR 2.
  18. I know and it sucks. That is why I will be skipping this title.
  19. I don't care about titles. They are meaningless to me. All I care about is the game itself.
  20. KotOR1 was okay till I was forced to become a Jedi. I recommend to Obsidian not to force character develope on the player. Let the player develop his character has he or she wants to. Don't force us to be Force users, don't force us to play munchkin characters, and make the game a challenge. If the player wants to make a munchkin character he or she will, but don't force the rest of us who don't.
  21. I won't be. I just hope Obsidian does better with their second game.
  22. Not all, just a balance of challenge and story.
  23. Sorry, I mostly just play CRPGs.
  24. Doesn't matter if you have a light saber or not, Jedi are still munchkin characters.
  25. Sorry, Seth, but I don't play MMORPGs. ALso there is more to Star Wars than Jedi. If that wasn't the case every character would be a Jedi.
