  1. Didn't some member of Obsidian leave to go work on this game? I recall reading about it in regards to NWN2's HDR Team Fortress 2 is on the verge of beating this game out to release. And we still have not seen any screenshots. But, I guess I should stick by them since they are based out of my hometown of Garland. I mean CRIKEY! Garland! Why did I not know that till just now? I knew they were in the area, but never knew I probably passed their office 20 billion times.
  2. OH GOD OH GOD
  3. With such a sharp wit, would you really need a knife to wound your opponents? >_ I'm a dual wielder.
  4. I prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt on that. It's a way to help off-set massive development costs.
  5. Oh god, this post just got me totally hot. Want to make out?
  6. Then what would I do with my ammo and pointy thing?
  7. Whichever group I'm in, give me lots of ammo, and then something sharp for when I run out.
  8. It's snowing here. They laughed when I opened the ski resort, who's laughing now! I am. You opened it by the nude beach, nowhere near one of the mountains. "It's too hot to ski" you said. "All the skiers will be sunbathing." I was unaware that you rebuilt it after the fire that was started when you asked a nude Satan "how about those slopes?" I don't think she realized you meant ski slopes. In fact, I'm not sure I subscribe to that theory, either.
  9. I was expecting something more well researched. The article seems almost wholly anecdotal. In fact, I'm going to go on a limb and say it is completely anecdotal.
  10. Since we're talking so much about Sin: Eps, I figure this link might be enticing. http://www.romsteady.net/blog/2007/01/what...ed-preview.html Michael Russel, the man who runs that blog, is former head of QA at Ritual during the time that they worked on Sin: Episodes. Some of you may have read the blog before, it's become somewhat infamous over a couple of incidents. I've been following it since Sin: Episode 1. He seems to believe he was laid off in preperation for the company's sale to MumboJumbo. And it seems he has a theory on why the sale is happening. When he gets this post done, should be an interesting read. You can also search through his blog for other interesting information relating to Sin, including some of the changes they had to make for the USK version. And according to the GameDaily update, MumboJumbo will be strictly working on casual games. This means no Sin: Episode 2.
  11. I wanted a CE version of NWN2. Though, unlike Dark Messiah and Prey, none lasted in the US past pre-sells.
  12. I see nothing in that article saying they know it was definitely a bomb or if it was a conspiracy of hygiene products to have a low pH.
  13. WHERE?! HOW?!
  14. It's another sad day for the capital of violent video games. First id starts making cell phone RPGs, now Ritual is acquired by a casual games company. Basically we're left with 3D Realms.
  15. The Fall hasn't even been released yet.. Looks like it's been released in Germany, already.
  16. By intended I mean intended as a primary audience, not exclusive audience.

http://www.primatechpaper.com/career_form.shtml Edited the page source and the js file so the code check could never fail. And I'm finding absolutely nothing interesting on this page.
  21. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting. There was a cancelled PS2 CoC game, and something called Destiny's End which was a third person game set in modern day, but that's not been heard from in years. I'm not even sure Headfirst even exists anymore. It's Destiny's End that I'm talking about. Sounds like a sequal from their website. No new news posts since October 27th of 2005. So, yeah... doesn't seem like they exist anymore.
  22. I thought that at first, but then I thought I read that Headfirst was the one who published. But, now looking at the Gamespy info, apparently you're right. And apparently Headfirst is working on a sequal.
  23. After playing some more Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, I have a measure of faith in Bethesda's ability to do the atmosphere right.
