Heatmaps are cool, I like heatmaps. I guess I'm at a point where I take the use of heatmaps in design and revision as assumed. But being on a small budget here, Obsidian might not be able to implement that kind of tracking.

Oh you remember correctly. Which is why it's complicated. It was an SR3 planned DLC. Now it's an SR4 planned DLC.

I'm not sure what's up with Enter the Dominatrix. That's the first DLC for SR4. Or is it Rise of the Dominatrix? Anyway, I would have liked to see more of 50s Steelport sim. That could have been a cool DLC of its own.

Yesterday I made shrimp tacos. I always forget just how much shrimp shrink when you cook them. I made 12 and I thought that would be enough for 4 tacos. Turned out to not be enough for 3. And either the lemon pepper I'm using isn't half as good as the store demonstration or it's really wasted on tacos.

If they made a Star Wars MOBA, it shouldn't be Jedi vs. Sith, but OT vs. NT. Luke Skywalker beating up on child Anakin, ooh yeah.

I really should read that pile of Sanderson books of mine that's accumulating. But then how will I find time for the Pratchett and Jordan piles?

You're not supposed to, anyway.

I thought I'd be more impressed. It really does feel like a glorified expansion. Steelport has barely even changed on a layout level, aside from the towers, and lots of missions are the same. Even most of the customization is the same. I went hoping to find a bunch of cool new outfits and just ended up picking the exact same thing I had for SR3. Even the powers are an expanded version of content from the SR3 DLCs. Still, I loved SR3. So I'm not begrudging the title.

Have I not beaten the horse enough about how Mass Effect 3's ending was not the only thing bad about it? Perhaps in my wish to not be a broken record, some people didn't hear the song the first time. I can respect it if you disagree, but let's not pretend that it's only about the ending.

It all depends on where you live and where it ships from. Generally the free shipping option winds up being either UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or DHL to USPS. If the place it ships from is close enough to you, it will wind up getting to you 1 day after it ships, despite shipping via the "slowest" option available. If it needs to ship all the way across the country then it may take as much as 5 days. Anyway, glad you got the game quickly. SR4 is what I'm been playing 80% of the time at the moment, the other 20% is spent playing M&M X. Yeah I know. It used to be lightning fast, then they pulled their warehouses out of Texas. Now that they've started collecting taxes... it didn't improve. Except this once.

USPS says my copy of Saint's Row IV arrived! Free 4-5 day shipping, gets there the day after release, thank you Amazon. Sometimes they still amaze me.

Ahh, to be young again.

My excitement is tempered by all the things we don't know about and likely won't until it is released. Even Mass Effect 3 seemed like it would have been good going by what they were willing to reveal.

Doesn't tell me much except that they're going for that peculiar type of British cartoon look. I'm getting Conker and Fable flashes.

I'm expecting it to be free with recurring microtransactions.

Have they really not stressed "cinematic" yet? I am surprised.

I chose free shipping from Amazon. So it'll be a few days for me.

You win this round, rodent. No really, fair point.

It would be anti-competitive to brick and mortar stores that have stricter schedules.

-RPS That's TWO good news stories about EA in a week. Now as bad good news comes in threes, what'll be the third? EDIT: Don't see any reference to it, so I assume it's not the case, but it'd be nice if the policy applied to retail keys registered with Origin - i.e. being able to reclaim the key within the timeframe. Just came to post this, but was beaten. I really don't see them letting you reclaim CD keys. That requires a whole other function out of their hands to turn into a refund.

Depends on the term.

But if you'd called a white guy a "cracker," a few eyebrows would have definitely raised.

Well, hard to not be offensive if you're essentially insulting someone. Talk about what a character does, not what they are. Unless they're abominations. I don't think one has to be so progressive that you can't call out demon possession.

The point is that when you express your hate with a slur against homosexuals, it seems like the hate is about the homosexuality.

I'm unique in liking the wave combat of DA2. It forced you to adjust your tactics in a battle, even if it was something as simple as repositioning your mages. The downside is it was every encounter in the game, so there was no variety.
