  1. Not unless you don't reveal the edges of the map xD. Thanks, anyways. Here's after some tries. Nice fight.
  2. Oh... Where is that oversized spider located? :D I am really bad at this. I do want to give her a try, but I don't see an immediate way to her... already killed the big crocodiles, which concluded the tripple S dlc. Damn... Any help appreciated!
  3. Far as I know, some abilities are actually missing some of their key-words... other than that, you're on the right track .
  4. Hey, thanks for mentioning me, OP . I also have this guy. Took him through solo some time before. Also, bear in mind I can only speak about Thaumaturge of Wael here. My Goldpact Arcane Knight is less versatile than my Thaumaturge of Wael. It's easier to play because you have quite a few passive bonuses and straightforward skills, but the ceiling is lower as you may end up struggling with damage because your Wizard side is left to cast both defensive and offensive spells. You can always combine with scrolls(both Paladin and Wizard start with Arcana), and that's fun, but if you overconsume them, you may end up without crafting materials--money won't be the problem. You have to make use of more 'budget' skills like Minor Blights and Phantom Summons and those can be a bit slow, meaning that they may not be for everyone. The Thaumaturge of Wael produces more nuking resources, both from Wizard and Priest, and has a buff available for every stat as well as a few more time-based defensive options that make him very durable during limited periods. I find those periods enough to deal with whatever, though. Generally, I think the Thaumaturge is more dynamic and fun, but you also need to choose your skills and how they fit you into what you want to be doing. You can mess up a Thaumaturge more than you can mess up an Arcane Knight .
  5. OP, there is also an easy to install difficulty mod called 'Deadly Deadfire' at Nexus Mods. It won't work with God Challanges, but if you're finding the game too easy, than that's your cup of tea. I am not going to recommend God Challenges, because some combinations may end up being quite annoying xD.
  6. The pacing of the game is off. The combat system is enjoyable and you can do some fun things with it, but combined together with the semi-open world design the game's is striving hard to achieve it comes short. It's a no rest fest all the way through. Think of it that way, it doesn't challenge you to choose your encounters and manage resources. In the first game a good number it things were left more subtle--thus allowing your imagination to fill the gaps, and there were details upon details left for you to discover, whereas the second game is quite anxious to present to you a bit too much too quickly and even breaks the 4th wall on numerous occasions doing that. I think there generally is less developer restraint in the design of Deadfire. Some of the classes converge when in endgame in terms of what they can do(speaking power level here). That takes some of the RPG element away. Combined with the no-rest policy it definitely feels off. There should be more defined differences between various builds. Some of the items are too strong, while others barely get used at all. Too many consumables which feel watered down and very few that stand out. Too many encounters feel generic and not really involving once characters reach end level. Not too much strategy over all. Not too much variation in the enemies you encounter, as well. Despite the no rock-paper-scissors policy, the game ironically ends up quite deep into that territory. All in all, Deadfire is not a bad game by all accounts, but it does play liberally with quite a number if ideas and it clearly doesn't always work. I just want to add that I am the kind of guy who'd play this game even if it were in full-2D and without an ounce of voice-acting .
  7. Yeah... x). You're right about that. I will be putting a class build soon. I just want to finish the dlc.
  8. What do I know… I'm rather illiterate on the matter. To me it seems they're trying to reinvent the wheel without fixing what needs fixing now, to be honest. For example, I'm pulling 200 fps with DOOM but under Vulkan and with 70 centigrade on the gpus. I find it funny that an AMD-developed gizmo ends up working better on their stuff :D.
  9. Nery... The Dragon is here. I'm so bad with names. The build is kind of complete now(I think there are still things I can tweak). It keeps rolling the Dice of RNWaelsus in order to see whether it's gonna do a lot, more, or even more damage. This is not cherry picking between various rolls, btw. It's literally the first try on the BoW dragon. All in all I really like how the build came out. It's fun. Will be going through SSS soon and for the first time, as well.
  10. 3840x1080 Gotcha, gotcha. I just found it a bit odd that you said average of 60 fps for that title, even if it is a large resolution... is that with all the new RTX(that real time light tracking...) things?
  11. There's one weapon modal(Mace) that reduces armour and several others that reduce all the deffences. Check Clubs, Flails, Pikes and Morning Stars. For instance, I am quite fond of Clubs(-25 Will). Using a Cypher together with a tank that is using a club is great, becasue through lowered Will the Cypher can further reduce all other defenses. Just check out his abilities and look for the ones that reduce the basic stats(like Resolve and Intelligence). You can stack so many your target will be like a polymorphed sheep in the end.
  12. Conversions are effects that state % Hits to Crits. This means every time you score a hit it will be rolling a dice to see if it will get converted to a crit. You can use several of those and they don't stack; they do roll separately, so it's useful to have as many as you can. Potion of Perfects Strikes is one such very useful effect. By mentioning weapon modals I am actually a bit obscure... but what I mean is that you can stack several weapon modal debuffs, then target those deffences with other effects that further reduce deffences and armour and then get a very large basic crit chance by having a 100% accuracy on the targets. All in all, you have to micromanage a bit, but that's how you get good things in PoE x). If you're diligent with those you will be making more crits than this guy:
  13. Sadly, you cannot use Brilliant on yourself . Otherwise, I would have told you that spamming endless Crishing Dooms would have been either close or the best thing for beating the bosses. A Cypher/Fighter is pretty solid otherwise. You can use Black Jacket to cycle through weapon modals and debuff enemies for Cypher skills, which is a pretty cool stuff. And the class can use Kapana Taga with Borrowed Instincts, which is never bad. I must say that the definition of 'best solo class' is wonky at best, because it means so many different things to different people. Who are we to define fun? Still, I am playing this toon at the moment that promises around 800 damage in a single attack to the BoW dragon. It can also do Barring Death's door for nearly a minute and have enough Will to fully resist any Arcane Dampener. If that's your territory, then check it out. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/105954-a-pure-wizard-thaumaturge-of-wael/
  14. Damn... x).
  15. Ok, moving in into final min-max... it has pulled some promising numbers.
  16. Wait... dude. On what resolution are you getting 60 fps in Kingdom Come?
  17. Here, I will give it a try. Solo tank with Kapana Taga--a very tanky weapon that has modal that will reduce enemy Will. Two Cipher/Something in stealth in the back both activating Borrowed Instincts to give them +20 Accuracy to every attack, spell and scroll they use.
  18. Wael.... Because eating rotten fish instead of doing the rational thing and throwing it away is how we do things. And he gives you all those insane defenses.
  19. Yeah... Well, tips are given already :D. I think they'll help him, anyways.
  20. The build is very fun so far. This is far from the final version, btw. Just still doing small things around the map.
