Also I have to say, Trump should have never been President in the first place!!! He is the star of Celebrity Apprentice! Well it's nothing to do with me i'm not American, the UK is in more of a **** show than the US.

Well, I voted for Green party in my constituency. They get about 1000 votes coming 4th, with Conservative getting over 50% of total votes. Some people are getting super upset about it, but that's democracy, you make your vote and if it doesn't win you just have to deal with it what is the point complaining forever.

There is so much stuff out there right now, everything is in competition for your money. Games like this probably need to manage their budget a lot better to make money. I doubt adding full VO gave it any additional sales. Hey Obsidian, I'm a finance analyst! Let me come work for you! I spend my entire life making budgets......

I think PoE suffered from... not being Forgotten Realms! This is why so many games/movies/tv shows/whatever are remakes and remasters and sequels and whatever... brand recognition. People (in general) like the familiar, why do you think McDonalds is so popular?! It's garbage food but you know exactly what you're going to get.

The Next Mass Effect?
daven replied to Biff's topic in The Outer Worlds: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Other than being vaguely sci fi, it's nothing like Mass Effect. Strange comparison. -
TOW DLC Confirmed!

Hasn't Steam had exclusives? Nobody seems to care about that. It's called brand loyalty and it's for suckers. -
I get what you're saying but I'm not trying to get too serious with this. I'm just seeing what people like or dislike about the big city concept. They tend to be disappointing in general, except athkatla probably. Kotor doesnt have any main cities, just the hubs of the different worlds and that works perfectly fine. Edit. I actually think it works best when it's the main area of the game, bg2.. and a controversial one here... dragon age 2s kirkwall. I think in bg1 you get to the city a bit too late, iits built up too much and doesn't live up to expectations.

Americans have been doing this for WW2 movies for years, making out they were the only ones who did anything in that war. Completely forgetting all the efforts British and the rest of the allies had been doing for years. Then young people believe the rubbish they see in films and get a completely incorrect and distorted view of the world.

I don't mind Corbyn unlike a lot of people here but I can't bring mysel to vote for Labour. Tony Blair was associated with them and he is still free when he should be locked up! Maybe i'll vote Green party. The planets going to hell right now.

I can't stand politics. When the UK general election comes tomorrow, I am going to draw a **** on it.

I think since i've worked in an office i've stopped enjoying PC's as much, since i'm sat at a monitor all day I don't really want to when I get home!

What do we think makes a good RPG city? Neketka is often regarded as one of the better parts of Deadfire. I really like the music, amount of quality content, visuals (and diversity of visuals old city etc). In many ways it is the best of all, it has a very unique design. How do you think it compares to these others? Athkatla (BG2) - Probably the highest tier of all RPG cities. Most of the game is actually set here so there is a ton of content. I don't actually like the visuals that much, it's all very sandy looking. But you leave the city and there are forests everywhere. Copper Coronet is a great pub, a good pub is key to RPG cities I think. Neverwinter (NWN2) - This has a decent pub, it's basically the HQ for your party for the first half of the game. The city feels very static though, NPC's basically just stand there the entire game and don't have much to say unless they are a vendor. Baldur's Gate (BG1) - It's a good sized city with a lot of quests. I like it, lots of pubs everywhere. Berlin (Shadowrun Dragonfall) - This is the main hub for the game, i haven't played it in a while now but I have vague memories of liking it. I think there is a coffee shop though, no pub so not as good as the others. Las Vegas (FNV) - I found it a bit disappointing. There are some quality quests though, mainly that one with the white hand society(?). What have I missed? What do you guys like/dislike in an RPG city? I'm just trying to get some good conversation going about RPG's rather than the doom and gloom of those other topics.

I prefer using a PC with keyboard and mouse and all the extra stuff you can do with mods and what not on a PC... however I also really enjoy sitting back on my sofa and playing on a console with a big TV. and not just being sat upright at a desk. Also my PS4(original) always sounds like it's going to take off into orbit when I try play most of the games which is really annoying. PC's are more for enthusiasts rather than casuals. There is nothing wrong with being casual... It's called casual for a reason, because you're not that invested or bothered. In fact I put a lot of effort into making a PC and i've barely used it over the years, i've been on my Switch and PS4 more. Edit: I remember a funny quote comparing the two saying "It's like comparing a car to a bus, in what way is a car better than a bus?"

I haven't played more than 1 hour of Serpent, I merely bought it on the look of the game. That's what I mean, I will buy most CRPG's as i 'plan' to at least play them one day. So I don't think of them as rivals, i'd have thought most CRPG fans buy a lot of them. Don't have much comments on the hollywood situation. I'm not really into going to the cinema, in fact the last film I did see at the cinema was a rerelease of 2001 A Space Oddyssey a year or 2 back.I'm not sure if it's the same situation... with DLCs and all that lark associated with 'em. Anyways, with all this said. I don't think any of the modern releases are on the level of BG2 still! BG2 has a massive barrier to entry though with AD&D and being a direct sequel. The last 90's and early 2000's was a great time for RPG's in general. The best Final Fantasy games came out around then, the classic IE games, KOTOR, Deus Ex, Breath of Fire 3/4... man the PS1 had some good JRPG's. Suikoden 1 and 2. No idea where I am going with this. Okay POE is a good game, my problem with it is it feels like a ripoff of the classic games too much. It's almost unfair that the IE games had so much material to go on with all the forgotten realms stuff. It made the worlds feel so much bigger. Edit: After seeing the new Pathfinder game announced i had an obvious realisation, Pathfinder was a success partially(or primarily) due to being from a well established franchise and brand name! As was Divinity, they have both been around for years.
