Let's hope it's indeed like that, and it's not over-interpretation on the viewers' part! That was the first thing I noticed: Those Biths joking among themselves in the corner!

That's very interesting...perhaps you find Revan's wardrobe on the Hawk... can anyone imagine how they could have ended up in 'our' hands??

Environments appeared larger to me as well, but: Please no higher sys. requirements!!!

couldn't have been more precise

then the 'urban planet' is indeed a new planet about which nothing has been revealed so far.
-
The description for the Citadel Station is hardly that of an 'urban' setting: Some apartments, cantinas, and docking bays -the 'urban planet' on the screenshots looks much richer, with higher buildings and definitely more 'city lights' -whereas life on the Station seems to be taking place inside the closed hallways. Could the 'urban planet' be the city Iziz on Onderon? well in any case, this new video looks FAR MORE impressive than the trailer.....

well since this is the only sensible interpretation that seems possible, it is the proof that "that person is pulling that information out of his ass." 'Change alignment when persuade doesn't work' sounds stupid: What do you do after the desired result is obtained? Get him back to his original alignment, or leave him like that? Then every powerful LS player can convert adversaries and not bother fighting them. Here's another idea: CHANGE SPECIES WHEN STRENGTH DOESN'T SUFFICE: You'll be able to mutate any party member into a Krayt Dragon, or a big Rancor for a more 'efficient' fight. You'll also be able to convert a powerful enemy into a Gizka -wow! speculations on this board are at least responsibly made

ahem... I've been mocking the Sandrals and Matales with silly jokes on these forums for some time. What I find odd is that I can't relate this 'force adaption' ability to a 'solution' to the Sandral-Matale conflict, or any other conflict in Kotor. If I'm DS, the only time I'd want to 'appear' LS would be to trick someone -with the Dantooine families, or any other character that you meet, the DS character just wants a slaguhter, or deceit, theft, whatever. If I'm LS, why the hell would I want to appear DS unless I want to fool a Sith into believing I'm on their side? That's why I said I find it unintelligible

Sounds like a DS power....but still I don't get the example he's giving!

What he's saying is either old news, or it's unintelligible.

Questions to Dev's - take 3
Sabahattin Dere replied to Hydrogen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you check the previous Questions to the Devs threads, quite a few of your questions were answered (or were asked and left ignored :D ) there. The links are on the first post of this topic. -
I don't understand anything from what he's saying here

What's bigger Star Forge or Death Star
Sabahattin Dere replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Death Star because it exists on the cinema screen -
Nobody would: That's old news

It was argued on these boards earlier that the Czerka corporation probably was one of the things Bioware left incomplete at the time of game release. You only got to see its 'shell', as it were, but that was without any function, and played no tangible role whatsoever in the story except for the slavery bit on Kashyyk and the hunting license purchase on Tatooine. Now if TSL ignores altogether that Czerka even existed, that will be the confirmation of its being redundant. If it does appear in the game, however, I believe we have too little knowledge to really come up with speculations as to its current state in the galaxy. For one thing, it was backed by Malak, and practically existed as an offshoot of the emerging Star-Forge-Empire. When that's gone, maybe the company dissolved immediately. I hope we do not get to see a clone of Palpatine's empire in this game -so hopefully none of the Sith Lords will be after the foundation of an Empire. With a 'crippled' Republic, and no evil empire in its place, perhaps there will be less space for big companies, but we'll get to see more pirates, smuggling, etc. So in the place of Czerka, we could have big crime lords -who I hope will also contribute to the story, unlike Czerka!

year 1977: British actor Sir Alec Guiness is sick of this obscure and nonsensical project called, 'Star Wars'. He "he convinces series creator Lucas that Kenobi would be a more effective mystical mentor if he appeared to Luke as a ghost. Lucas liked the idea, rewriting the first film to include the Jedi Knight's death in combat with former prot

Yes plenty of people said that last time this topic was raised. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No it was worse; plenty of people said that plenty of people said that last time this topic was raised. What I'm doing now in effect is to say that plenty of people said that plenty of people said that plenty of people said that last time this topic was raised. If this topic pops up many more times until release, then a greater number of people will have said that many people had previously said, that a considerable number of members had remarked earlier that many had pointed out to the fact that a lot of the posters mentioned, that not a small number of people have been talking about the startling phenomenon of the tendency on the part of quite a number of commentors had been directing our attention to the threads wherein plenty of people said that last time this topic was raised.

You'd witness the invention of the lightsaber (whose power source which you wore on your back would be connected to the hilt by a cord!), the foundation of the Jedi council, etc. I guess the SW universe has enough potential for an INFINITE amount of entertainment material....unbelievable. Lucas really has a Star Forge for 'Endless Money'
-
I guess drawing inspiration from Lucas's earliest drafts, it is established that -at least the human- earliest Force-user was an ancient farmer of some sort who sensed the sway of the Force (his name could be Skywalker[?])and taught his many children of its ways; their family formed the core of what came to be known as the 'Jedi Bendu Knights'. That was at the time when Coruscant consisted of nothing but a few towns. The lightsaber etc. were all invented later on. That's also probably *long* before any Sith were contacted. I think I'd want to play a game set in this extreme time period; but of course it wouldn't have anything to do with Kotor.
-
Judging from what has been revealed so far, I'm expecting party formation to be far more flexible in TSL; why not have a beginning choice of 'Kotor1-LS Ending' allow Yuthura, and DS-ending allow someone else?

look at it on the bright side, though. If she was originally designed as a party member, that means perhaps the devs. took her seriously enough to introduce as an NPC for the second game.
