  1. So you are proposing that an RPG won't sell well, if it doesn't have multiplayer? PoE1 sold really well, and was singleplayer. So what was the problem with PoE2? Smaller crowdfunding profile? People not liking PoE2 that much? Critics not liking PoE2 that much? Setting that doesn't play on nostalgia? People who bought PoE1 didn't actually like it? Or didn't complete it, and didn't buy the sequel? The colour and humor of DoS is more markatable, then grim, serious and lore heavy focus of PoE?
  2. There is a lot of assuming here. For example an interesting stat would be how many people who purchased div2 used multiplayer feature, and/or adventure creator. Even if your claim were to be true, copying the other successful title, doesn't automatically lead to success. Better to carve your own niche, rather that trying to get some moment which goes to the other, time consuming popular title.
  3. According to @Boeroer the lot drop Bug was addressed. Dont know about this one. If I run intro such enemy soon i will let you know.
  4. Yup. After recent patches it runs ok for me, but summons stop action for about a second when game loads the model.
  5. 😂 “Below expectations” is the industry’s motto. Unless Epic is paying really, really well.
  6. Casting abilities take time, so characters acting between "character 1 initiated cast" and "character1 finished cast" can interupt it.
  7. That bug has been present before - a character gets stuck trying to cast not their spell - I run into it before TB was introduced as it was my Barbarian run. I got no clue what triggered it, and was never able to reproduce it reliably.
  8. Any hope I ever had for seeing KOTOR3 (or good RPG in SW universe) died with release of OldRepublic and later complete aquisition by EA. I am beyond caring for any project under EA's umbrella, and with Disnays lack of interest in gaming market it doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon.
  9. I would always recommend to make your own mind. I loved it when it was first introduced. But after a bit of play some issues became apparent and it seems that addressing them would require a bit too much work.
  10. Class description doesn’t assign many tropes traditionally associated with barbarians. It focuses more on their fighting technique. In addition Rekke might not be representative of entire culture, unless you want to suggest that they all have a soft spot for arson.
  11. Opt out of beta, into normal release. 5.0 wasn't released as beta, it's on the main branch.
  12. It’s been unlikely to happen when TB announced, and it will not happen now when development has been halted. Sorry. I personally would like to switch into RTwP, because some of the fights can just drag forever in TB. Alas, the system doesn’t support switching between one and another.
  13. This in particular (as my current character is Arcane Archer with TB), though the whole community patch would be welcome. I have no idea how much overlap between both modes there is.
  14. Awesome. Thank you for your work guys. Will it also work for Turn Based mode or are you focusing purely on RTwP?
  15. Private space is considered sacred among Príncipi sen Patrena. yeah, this is one of those quest moments that felt way too easy, like the should be some kind of hurdle on your way.
  16. I liked TB mode even in beta. I didn't play too much of 5.0, but I feel a bit disappointed by how little it has changed. It's been polished (some abilities rebalanced, tooltips work properly etc.) but underlying issues with the system haven't been addressed. I would say, it is good enough for a playthrough, if you prefer TB, over RTwP, or like me, don't want to deal with stutter during RTwP combat. Depending on how deep you engage with mechanics one might not even be bothered by issues TB combat has. I do consider it, to be inferior however, as it breaks some of the core principles of PoE system.
  17. Please, add her to the party and check first. Resting only clears injuries accumulated by characters currently in your party, whenever you rest and year, or sleep in an inn.
  18. Would it be possible to give Arcane Archer a passive which adds Pen to keyword “imbue”?
  19. Yeah, I was about to post that it might not be as simple, as Imbued Spells are attached to the main attack, which has its own calculation. I would imagine there is an engine limitation which makes it tricky to do a thing like that properly.
  20. Arcane archers imbue spells, so their penetration scales the same as spells to keep, the, useful. Imbue: Missles/Fireball/Death.
  21. I think I would prefer TB, if it was done with it from the get go. As it is, system is originally designed with RTwP in mind and as such some mechanics simply work better in the original enviroment. In addition, many fights in Deadfire come down to swinging at enemies and waiting till they die. When I play a good, balanced, challenging encounter, I think I would prefer it in TB. The only real benefit of TB combat is that it is unaffected by performance issues (framerate dipping, and stutters whenever a creature is summonned) which I am experiencing regularly.
  22. I don't knowww. I can't believe it is intentional, as it makes imbuing spells fairly useless later in the game. Saaaad
  23. 😭 5.0 and spells from imbue effects still don’t gain pen with power level. Booooo.
