  1. I wouldn't say the system itself was the problem, but how they used it, like the variables they chose, yes they add something to the companions, but it doesn't worth in my opinion
  2. No, you don't have to pledge to another god to get Wael's option
  3. No inventory (only equipment slots) Rest only in inns (Galawain, or Skaen in addition of the current challenge) Make all AoE to affect both enemies and allies (maybe Magran?) No health regeneration, permanent injuries (Rymgrand) Double negative reputation (Skaen) Remove the PotD restriction Abydon: Limit the number of times an item can be repaired Magran: Will never use it, but kind of like it to be there. Still i think i would prefer something i would actually use Skaen: I really like it, but feels small, there should be something else Wael: "What will happen is a mystery" (Nothing happens) So far i will use everything but Magran
  4. "The next one I can’t talk about just yet, but it will be one of the gods and will be a bit more mysterious." Mmmhhhh...
  5. Dialogues for the sidekicks on the important parts of the story An affliction that gets worst the longer it takes you to finish the game, to reinforce and give some consequence to your situation with Eothas and your soul
  6. For location my prediction and desire agree on Ixamitl Plains A setting focused on regular kiths dealing with big repercussions situations; and Ixamitl Plains, being a culture with philosophers, would be great for this As for returning companions i think Ydwin should come back, maybe Aloth or Eder (preferable as temporals) Zahua as a final temporal, and a Durance cameo with a short dialogue that will make you **** More mature. And on tone i hope is like PoE and no Deafire. Over the base tone, the use of companions to change the overall tone, like a companion that makes the world less grey, one that makes you quit the game and life, one that makes it almost apt to 5+ and casuals ( but still good quality) And a wish: Less creative restrictions, don't build around a mold. Not every companion has to be for everyone, or have the same quantity of lines or banter or relationships, or be permanent, etc. The same for factions and other elements if there happen to be
  7. I have this character concept of a cipher who have a perception filter similar to grieving mother but a little more complex, that gives him the appearance that would matter to observer so she can learn more about people, changing his race and sex to the eye of who sees her. Could someone please make this possible? maybe changing these traits so they can be added by console like with classes
  8. Subclass: The rogue pretends to be not so much of a threat playing clumsy. +:Reduced target priority -: Reduced movement speed +:Increased critical damage -: Reduced action speed -: Reduced critical ratio
  9. Nice, but wont use Twitter either. How cool would be in a platform that doesn't requires account and options open to suggestions > <
  10. I was wondering if adding more classes with console would lead to being overpowered by versatility. How many effects and damage types does a multiclass have access to? Is there a combination that lets you do almost anything? If it would be much more versatile, how bad would this be considering that the number of abilities and uses would be around the same as a normal multiclass?
  11. I was hyped for him being a companion :c. I hope its a sidekick in the sense of no relationship system and no quest, but has a good amount of content, and doesn't feel an incomplete companion and missed opportunity, A little worried about the comedy
  12. They could just add the meal to the description of the rooms
  13. -An epic close to the watcher of Caed Nua -More Torment/PoEI-like -Companions that are real but also interesting, most of them are regular alike non-interesting real world people (on situations, ideas, personality, psychology) on Eora. And that is ok for a book where you can go deep on those common components of a regular person and give/dig on its importance. Or for a few that have other components, Eder for example has that he has nothing really on his character, he is just a guy, and that is his thing as an companion/object/element of the game. -Just one/two companion highly connected to most/all factions -Durance -Zahua -Ixamitl Plains -Zero-combat paths -High moddability
  14. And sell the crew to the slavers
  15. There was a post about making of the current party (5 members) a "combat(or active) party" and removing the party size limitation on the new party ("non-active party", "roleplay party", "real party"). he/she mention some pros. The companions would behave as if it were on the party, but wouldn't be physically represented. Essentially to separate the combat party and the roleplay party so one doesn't ruin the other Great idea, but still doubt will be implemented. So Devs: can you make this easily moddable? Made a new topic because this is specifically about making it moddable and its mainly directed to the developers.
  16. Ixamitl Plains Companions like Durance, Zahua and Kana As moddable as possible Multiclass moar classes *We need souls, we can get them by convince Ixamitl to give us a fraction of theirs by helping them against invaders and other things, and talking to them (culture of scholars and philosophers), taking their souls with help of the invaders, trick them, making the regions fight, getting and entire region souls, getting them to help us take the souls of the invaders, getting them to give us the people they choose to sacrifice, etc. (*): Edit
  17. Scaled whatever skeletons base chanters summon probably. Remember that those are not really some kiths skeletons, but fragments of souls of the surroundings that take that form. Guess beckoners get the souls to take the form they want faster so they gather with the closer fragments forming a lot of smaller invocations. Or something like that.
  18. Don't like the descriptive text in dialogue narration either. Really like how was it done tho. For prologue, "cut-scenes", or other separate and conclusive texts without dialogue, would love to have it all narrated.
  19. Even if it would have an explanation it would be one created to justify it, not one that causes the limitation.
  20. They implied, as explained for a few, that they have conversations. "Little to none banters" i thought it mean very little, it looks like they meant that was going to have little or none. So, zero banters? ok :c. but that is different from what they just said: that they are just a model a portrait, and an initial convo, i don't think they have lied, they would have say it way earlier if the sidekicks where reduced to this. Josh probably wanted to say that that is the most notable content they have, but is not what he said, so he should probably clarity it.
