Note I used the words that I've seen. That's a way of saying I don't know the stuff without saying i'm ignorant...

I feel this is the best implementation of a D20 (or any pnp adaptation) ruleset in combat that I've seen (frankly Ice Dale and BG combat was a little dull).

No easter eggs...extra stuff you have to work hard for, but nothing that breaks the mood or theme.

I wasn't complaining. I was explaining my point of view. If you're going to respond, then atleast know the difference between a complaint and an explanation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We're "complaining" because we're pissed off at the company...lucasarts guarenteed repeatedly that there would be simultaneous release...while the extra features and stuff would be nice, it's not really the issue.

I really don't know...I've been falling out with the video and computer-game industry for quite a while now... I was a big FF fan until that expensive PS2 thing... Is LOTR the third age for PC? Any recomendations for a good RPG (more console style than traditional, but if it resembles KOTOR, I'll play it)? I'll also do good RTS games (I'm a huge Warcraft fan). That whole MMORPG thing is unfamiliar and scary to me, though it sounds potentially interesting...though I played Galaxies and it seemed strange, confusing, and pointless (after a hour or two of confusion I sorta gave up though). Otherwise, I'll stick to the few games I know...FF VIII and maybe VII, IX, KOTOR, and some earlier FF games. And of course Warcraft III, frozen throne. Really, any reccomendations?

Just something funny... I went on my little fun spamming campaign on LA forums in protest. 24 hours after I have stopped, calmed down, and have actually defended them once or twice, my spamming posts are a page away, brought enlightenment to the LA people who use the inferior forum, and always participated well in my conversation since, they freeze my account (essentially close it down). :D :D :D :D :D :D That be funny!!

Well i don't have 800 dollars too get my computer too work with all the PC games so i got an Xbox and we have Fable, enyway what are some games that the cinsoles don't that PC has. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aliens versus Predator 2, No One Lives Forver series, X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, Age of Empires/Age of Mythology series....these are al just from my personal collection that are in my possession at the momen, there's a host of other older western CRPGs I'm soon to get my hands on; as well as games from just about any genre you can place. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ummm...even people who hate PCs have to agree that they have far more games....

EVEN IF (and that's a big if) it's not lucasarts fault that someone screwed up so bad, I jsut have to say this who keep saying we PCers are just whining or that we shouldn't say such bad things about LA since it's not their fault: we have all the right to make theories about their corruption until they give an offical statement, apology, and explanation.

I consider 2 different endings a massive variation from the norm RPG now adays.

That's my approach, as well. With the Heart of the Guardian in the long one and the other unique crystal (forget it's name) in the short one, combined with the most damage-inducing crystals, a good strength, and Master Valor, a Guardian can typically kill anything short of Darth Malak in one round. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm thinking of trying a new crystal-less game... BTW, Ivan, is that footage from BEBOP?

Just wondering, where did you get that? Therefore, is D20 not an RPG style? O, my bad...the original basis for Roleplaying games is an adventure game... I must once again bring up my FF and definition of RPG piont.

What I've been trying to point out is the difference betwen a "true" (CRPG old school style) rpg and the newer style (present on most consoles. I've been saying KOTOR is a mix of the two, making it so successful and popular, and appealing to gamers from both catagories.

I personally think they only make more money on x-box because it comes out earlier, and thus all the pc players buy the x-box version and make the stats weird. The same thing's going to happen again. I theorize that if the PC version were released earlier, it would make more money than the x-box version.

Really Really don't want to go political so I won't say that second of the second part part is wrong...

I think 9 class combonations...male female...ls ds...other minor decisions that we don't figure in...Revan ls ds...revan male female... Not including class I think we have 16 major combonations not including apprenticeship stuff and other things we don't know about. Something like 100 medium combos and near infinite minor ones.
