A couple major flaws with that screwed up idea. Firstly $$$$$ for x-box just for one game? Secondly, that just be making microsoft richer and leting the ****ers succeed with their god damn scheme. Thirdly, I'm a god damn PC gamer or maybe PS. I'm not able to (or even if I could I wouldn't) get a ****ing x-box. **** this. I think I'm just going to go back to my final fantasy and crap. While i think this isn't the fault of the x-box gamer and don't want to see them caught in the crossfire, I think this was also a really really low blow from LA. Thus I want to make LA pay, but not hurt my x-box friends, putting me in a dilemna. I am completely unsure as to the involvement of microsoft... If this is being done to try to boost x-box sales though, I'd have to say I'd love to see the x-box sales boycoted for a while... About us being whiny, as some say, some of our reasons are this. The PC players consistantly get the short end of the stick here..., we've been lied to. If they had announced the pc was 4 months later in release a long time ago (instead of the shorter 2 months), we all would have said..."that sucks, but oh well". Now they're doing this for unknown reasons and we have really been lied to. They get us excited only to dissapoint us. All the assurence we've had is for nothing. Good idea, but didn't the star forge prove numbers mean nothing to revan?

I'd personally like the make the game come out on time power or the spiting x-box (microsoft, not x-box gamers). Barring that (if i get the game), it's probably force speed. Good in combat and makign the game move fasteer.

Ummm, sry man. I already have one but can't get another at the same time. I have some chickens and stuff, but I'm too young to get a job (stupid 16 year old age mark in Indianapolis). I'm only 15.

Ummm, no. I just don't think so. Guardians have enough of an edge already, they don't need any special crap.

Yah, but what if some of us don't care about battlefront? There are not many PC RPGs that are good being made now adays, and none in KOTOR style. I've been a KOTOR afficiando for a long time. I waited 2 years for the first one to come out, checking the site 3 times a day. This has been a violation of trust.

You're not the only one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A week ago if anyone had told me I would be indifferent or even hostile towards KOTOR 2, I would have either complemented them on a good joke or asked them what they are on. I've been one of the biggest fans since month 2 of KOTOR 1 (after it was announced not released). Amazing how LA can screw stuff up like this.

Akari did provide an answer in the other thread. It's LucasArts that still hasn't bothered to acknowledge their blatant deception in marketing/advertisement. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But what real advantage would it be for them? They don't get paid for being pricks and ***holes, do they?

I think obsidian owes us fans a real explanation of what the cause is. I have trouble believing that Obsidian couldn't get the two released at the same time if they really wanted it, but I want the real answer. Not just some vague: we thought the time would better suit the economy thing. Give us answers...you owe us that much at least.

Then wouldn't it make sense that moving up the PC version would also be profitible? I have to wonder if many PC players bought the original Knights on X-box at first because it came out earlier, thus messing up stats in favor of x-box. Sorry about not having read the entire thing before posting earlier. I saw a specious statement and I am really really pissed about this whole thing...also I don't quite have time to.

I think the x-box shouldn't be pushed back. The it's not the fault of x-box gamers (and many of them are very sympathetic) that this has happened. Instead i think pc needs to be moved up. Some people talk about polishing and stuff, but they can just issue patches, like last time.

You're assuming america is representative of the rest of the world...no way .5 of world has x-box. That's absurd. Also, not even 1/5 of AMERICA'S population has an x-box. I"d guess more like 1/100th of population of China has x-box (absolute conjecture, so if anyone could find stats...), if that. Really, the american assumption tends to be that the rest of the world is relatively rich like us...we don't understand that if you have an x-box, you're probably not poor.

I wonder if they made one just so they would know what thread to ignore... :D As much as I frequently disagree with Hades, I'd say his earlier posts are definately right (I haven't read past page 1 as you can't expect me to read 16 pages). We've been let down. It happened earlier and has happened again. Obsidian want's to get out of Bioware's shadow, yet makes the same mistakes.

Why don't we all go to the lucas forums and protest there? It seems like it would be the place for it.

No, I remember going through this with KOTOR one. I waited for 2 years for the game, and the x-box came out first. THen some fool yelled the secret about who the main character is on the Bio-forums and i saw it before they erased it.

I sorta like it, but I could see it getting absurdly overpowered fast

I'm talking to my forum buddy lawyers and seeing if I actual have legal grounds to sue. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whoa man! I'm pissed off too, but I think a big flaw of our country is how easily we sue. Don't go that far! It's their decision ultimately...even if it loses fans, support, and costs us.

I think it'd be interesting if they made a study or released data on how many pc copies were sold and how many x-box copies were sold. I to think this is simply inexcusable. Unless I'm seriously mistaken, the PC player is the demographic that KOTOR sells best in. THerefore, why should we wait AGAIN. This was a big bioware problem too and I can' t believe Obsidian, for whom I had such high hopes, has done it also.

And I would conisder Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 (haven't played any since) RPGs......just different RPGs than Baldur's Gate and whatnot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank you very much. That's what I've been trying to make a differentiation between...traditional rpgs (often CRPGs) and the newer ones (often console).
