Well, the more like you the apprentice is, the easier it would probably be to empathize with, manipulate, read (as in sense motive and sense their emotions), and stuff like that. It's alot harder to do that on people of different races (though not that much harder).

Whoa man. Firstly, you're hurting yourself here. Secondly, no he didn't start it. He told you they were in the FAQs and you got pissed. Thirdly, consolidate your threads. You have formed 4 new threads, most of them with previously answered questions.

Either way, don't start 4 new threads. That's just spam, even if involuntary. Learn to consolidate your posts. Anyway, you can't become a sith lord early. Sith lord is the big title. It's like becoming president when you're 4 years old. At the end of the game you become THE sith lord if you're DS i guess.

Gameplay...Think about it. If you have fun, who cares what the story is, or if it doesn't have one. If you have story without gameplay, it's like reading a book (which is good, but not why you're playing a videogame).

Maybe I just played it too much (my first console game), but I was able to beat the game 1 player or 2 on jedi mode without losing any lives. Also, by the end I was perfect with all the combos.

YOu apparently haven't learned that Ratling has become an actual clan with a champion and everything. They have Ratling starters and around as many ratling peronalities as in just about every clan.

They were Toturi Tsuado="The Sword" She was rather militaristic from what I know. She died at the end of Gold. Hantai Naseru="The Anvil" I think he was courtierish but I really don't know that much. He was the one that won in the end due to a player choosing him after winning a tournament. As a condition of Toturi (the first one) getting the throne from Hantai, his first (or maybe 2nd or 3rd) son was given the Hantai name. It reassures many people who are nostaligic about the old hantai line. Kaneka="The *******" He's illigitamate. Guess what his nickname thing was. I think he was a big fan of the lion. Militaristic. Toturi Sezaru="The Wolf" One of Rokugan's most powerful shugenja. Kaneka and Sezaru joined the Pheonix. Before they were only wind cards. Now they're personalities.
