Just curious, why did you say devs please read this? They can't do anything about it.
-
Actually, technically either he is your superior as he has more posts or you are the same as you are both lvl 1!! Also, does sound work for everything else on your computer? Oh, you say they did...try it again and make sure you didn't accidentally turn downt he trailer sound. That's the only thing I can think of.

Stop Posting Here the Game is done
ShinIchiro replied to JediMafia's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
what does it hurt to post and discuss here? -
where as SW kid is...not tactful...
-
Tolerance, tactfulness, and willingness to correct people or at least inform them of their error. that's the approach I try to take, even though I often share the general sentiments of the bashers or flamers.

Isn't it also sorta an assassin tradition to wear a mask? Or at least a stereotype?
-
While that is true, we've had a flood of noobs recently. Alot of them start topics without looking for older threads or have ludicrous ideas (maybe not alot, but those are the more noticible ones), thus unfortunately perpetuating the myth of the stupid noob. However, you probably agree that we have found that so far it is less likely that an experienced poster on these forums starts a thread using a really foolish idea or something that's already been answered.

Sounds interesting...I have been interested in Xenogears (vaguely curious as I saw an add in a comic book), but it was a little before my time. Is it good? Combat system? I like the combo system. That mandates at least a tiny bit of skill. Reminds me of one of the only good things in Legend of Dragoon: The addition system (had its flaws, but principle and overall execution good).

Hasn't it been logiced out (I know its not a verb but who cares) that Sion is 99% probability of not being the masked guy? Besides, he fights bare chested without a mask.
-
I agree with what many people here say...though they tend to be a little...tactless...
-
Agreed. I want some good onisu here. O, and unlike many good adventure/rpg/action games, this one should come out on PC. I still think the combat system has to be kinda unique. Either do it from the FF style or have the ability to press buttons to do attack and stuff. Not BG style comat whatever u do. Actually, if it were more FF style of combat from a Dynasty Warriors camera style, I think that would be nice. Maybe a kingdom hearts thing?

Atton doesn't actually seem that bad, he's just sorta like an informal joke on this forum. He could actually be an awesome character (we don't have almost any info about him so our prejudices/jokes aren't rooted in fact), he's just sorta fun to randomly make fun of. O, they might post a non party member.

Laser whips are actually in EU. Its just having them mentioned in the context of lightsaber whips has made people get the wrong idea. Instead of energy sprouting from a handle, it's energy lining a whip. It's actually pretty cool.

If it's a samurai rpg, I think it should be a less traditional rpg game... I mean, not BG style, but more like dynasty warriors mixed with final fantasy and with elements of a pnp rpg style, if you understand what I'm saying.

Sry man, I don't like the flaming and stuff, but I have to admit you should have searched threads first. And offical announcements.

True but how much more rewarding will it be to wait for all this time and then play a supreme and polished game with all the things you didnt like about the first one ironed out? That is why most movie tie in games are sh*t, because they are rushed out to coincide with the movie release so im prepared to wait a little bit longer though I can only speak for myself nuh uhn its because of all this bull**** wiht halo2 that i decided to not bother myself with halo 2 at all as in i'm not planning on getting it because i'm saving up for kotor2 fable republic commando and some others and my friends also agree. i just hope that they dont do this with kotor and decide to make a multiplayer or decide to release it on xbox 2 like Team ninja did for ninja gaidan 2  besterds  KOTOR isn't going multiplayer. They've disspelled this enough. And besides, we talk here more to learn stuff and try to influence the game, not because we think it will actully happen. The game is close enough to release that they probably won't listen to our suggesstions, so don't worry.

Firstly, you really should look around. Seconldy, I remember a mention of 7 planets. Dxun, Telos, I'm not sure if that asteroid place is a planet, Dantooine, and I forget the rest.

That is just what i wan't That made little sense to me? That is just what I wasn't?

If it is white hair, then Obsidian need to work on the animation for that character more!! Remember, this was a pretty early picture. The animation could have been alot worse then.

They're adding alot of stuff to make ranged combat decent. They're making you want to use guns. Also, many flame because they're really frusturated when things pop up that have been in former threads. That's spamming. There's probably some new stuff for sabers, but more for guns.

Seconded...and ones who do not read the stickies at that... I agree. People, this is months dead. It had its time, now let it move on.

Firstly, whirlwind should never have been in the same power set as wave and push as it is very different. Secondly, stop accidentally complememting Topaz! Yah. What does whirlwind have to do with push and wave? The only similarity is that they both use telekinesis. I think whirlwind should be powered down and put as the first tier of its own catagory, leveling up so the final one maybe has multiple ones.

Is that a hood or her white hair?

Me too. Anyway, back on topic (or else this will get locked). What system would be ideal for a Samurai/Ancient Japan RPG? I'm a massive fan of unisystem in just about everything, but in a videogame, it would probably have to be different. Combat would be both the best and most difficult (and riskiest) part.
